Personally i took all for my baby.my hospital gv at 6wks, 10wks n 14wks wc cost 19.5k each tym except for 14wks wc does not hv rotavirus.
@ mama dat says its free in government hospital, pls not in all state oooo.am so sure of lagos n abj dat rotavirus n pneumococcal are not free
Yea, Likewise in my state, Enugu, rota n pcv are #6000 n #8500 respectively, makin a total of #14500, But penta and opv are free.
I had to give my lo only d free ones as I can't aford d others.
Pls how compulsory is rota and pcv, and what do They prevent in children?

Hi mamas,

My baby took 1 year immunisation yesterday. They gave him vitamin A. At night, he woke up at intervals and will cry and then sleep back.

This morning he has vomited twice. He has refused to play.
He is not running temperature.
What could be the problem?

Thanks

According to the hospital rotavirus is for diarrhoea and vomiting while pneumococcal is for pneumonia and otitis media.
According to senior modath, its not compulsory but if u can afford it for ur baby just do it.
Personally after spending 19.5k @ 6wks i did not wnt 2 spend again @ 10wks but i finally did n i willvjust do @ 14wks to fulfil all righteousness.

@tchiwinnie : you can purchase original sebamed products from a reputable pharmacy. It is distributed by a pharmaceutical company in Nigeria.

Put the soybeans inside dry pot, put on fire and keep stirring it till you notice the back can pill off easily, then take it to where you will grind it, dey know how to remove the back before grinding. You can add crayfish or whatever you wish to add while grinding it so it can mix up evenly.

Check at food stores or use Black Palm kernel oil or ask at your market.

This issue of Sebamed, please perhaps we can offer cheaper options that work as well. So far, I and a lot of mamas here have said organic oils work beautifully, so does Shea or Cocoa butter. So if you can't buy it, please try those. We all know our pockets are different smiley

Lol...don't mind me o sis. I was just amazed at how miraculous sebamed is, seeing nearly everyone here confirming it's very good and posting pictures. The manufacturers must be really getting something right in the product.

Truth is no vaccination is compulsory. Some people especially in developed countries feel vaccination is a scam. Some people also got adverse reaction from vaccination.

My advice is to always research then make up your own mind. The fact everybody is doing it doesn't mean you should or shouldn't

I think the reason why they are not free is because they are newer and pneumonia and the tummy virus are not epidemic diseases, at least not in this part of the world

@Kimoni please post. Infact I think we should start another thread, I have an idea (dunno if it will be good here or family section).

Healing ointment: Shea butter, olive oil, coconut oil, beeswax and some jara oils. Great for diaper rash, rashes on the face, ezcema, scratches etc. Can also be used for adults.

Sorry sis. Aproko did not allow me to respond on time but I dey ur back any which way. Fantastic idea IMO
