Hello ladies and gentle men. I have just been offered admission into a nigerian university to study Human anatomy, although I wanted to study medicine in the first place. However, it seems I don't know much about career opportunities under this course, or should I say I don't know what could be done with a degree in this field of study, to be sincere. They are plethora of opportunities available for Graduates in the field of Anatomy, especially, Biological Science Teachers, (Postsecondary). Clinical Research Coordinators
Medical Scientists, Except Epidemiologists, Molecular and Cellular Biologists, Natural Sciences Managers.


But I it would bring you any money especially in a country like Nigeria, if you truly love Medicine then you don't have to compromise, go study harder, study like your life depends on it and resit JAMB next year.

After studying Human Anatomy, you can apply for MBBS and be given 300Level in UniJos, 200L in BUK or UNIMAID. Moreover, Federal Government are proposing that graduates of Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology etc are to start joining Medicine at Clinicals level to become Medical Doctors.
And also you can work as an ultrasonographer after few months of training
