So I went to report to my ppa at jos north LG secretariat and was astonished at the number of coppers there (about 60 or more) in that small place. Most of us got rejected and now have to find another ppa. I'm not familiar with this area so any suggestion will be appreciated. Studied business economics and Finance.

I FEARED THIS IS THE ONLY TREND THAT COULD JEOPARDIZE OUR HOPE OF MOBILIZATION COME FEB/MAR, I MEAN PPA AVAILABILITY BECAUSE AN EXACT SCENERIO ACTUALLY PLAYED OUT ON TUESDAY WHEN I VISITED MY SKUL AND I SAW MULTITUDE OF CMs AWAITING ACCEPTANCE LETTER WHILE SOME ONLY CAME DOWN TO THE UNI FOLLOWING A REJECTION EXPERIENCE FROM THEIR ORIGINAL PPA AND OFCOURSE THEY WERE SUMMARILY REJECTED AGAIN WITH THE DEAN S/A SHOWING THEM A LARGE BRIGADE OF EXISTING/SERVING CMs.
SO IF COMPLAINTS ARE RIFE ABOUT THIS PROBLEMATIC TREND, I GUESS NYSC WILL HAVE NO CHOICE THAN SHIFTING OURS TO A TIME WHEN A15 WOULD HAVE ROUNDED OFF NOT FORGETTING THAT B15 STREAM II WILL BE HITTING CAMP NEXT WEDNESDAY

Biotecshola also made a valid point too and likewise Koolmak but one point they didn't quite observed very well is the fact that IN THE PAST WHEN BATCH A B AND C HELD SWAY, THERE ARE NO CMs FOR STREAM II ACROSS MAJORITY OF STATES LIKE A15 and B15 ARE PRESENTLY DISPLAYING EXCEPT FOR THE BH STATES THAT HAD TO WAIT FOR OTHERS TO DECAMP BEFORE STREAM II RESUMES CAMPING. HENCE IF WE CAN GET THE TOTAL NUMBER OF CMs FOR A14 B14 C14 AND THAT OF A15 B15, THEN COMPARE, I BELIEVE THAT WE MAY SEE NO CLEAR CUT DIFFERENCE.
We should also remember that B15 stream II will also camp and decamp to polute the same PPA they are complaining about now.

I think I kinda agree with you.... And going by what NYSC said "We are going back 2 having our 3 batches & tentatively 2016 Batch A Orientation course will be in between Feb & March." Going by the word "tentatively" which means not fully worked out, concluded, or agreed on, and also indicating a lack
of confidence or certainty then due to matters arising it may prompt such decision to be taken... Anyways in the face of it all I still remain optimistic that God will make it Feb/March for us all.... But again am prepared for anything....

Well! I believe NYSC have officials that deals with this kind of logistics.

If you're looking at it from this perspective then what NYSC will do is to limit the number of Corp Members for A16.
And that settles everything.

This year's A and B batches are like normal A, B and C batches. Maybe lesser.

So, with our own addition the population might be slightly higher than usual.
But they just need to reduce the number of corpers to be mobilised.

Or they chill till March before sending us to camp.

Cos I think by March ending or early April. A15 will be passing out. And space will be opened.

N.B. A15 might not complete 12 months. Maybe 11.

From our informant at the NYSC headquarter,we were made to understand that Batch A of 2015 CMs service year is "likely" to be shortened so as to pave way for the incoming Batch A of 2016 which is tentatively February/March. This means that instead of A15 passing out April,it is possible (final decision rest with NYSC as it is yet to meet over that officially) that they pass out Earlie February or mid February.
Like I said before,it was a little info I could get from our informant at the NYSC headquarter.

If your result have gotten senate approval before/during NYSC start requesting from various institutions (Senate of most schools have already approved their students results ) and your department have no (or few) backlog of awaiting PCM of previous set(s) then you are good to go.
