you have not read the quote I sent to you deut 26v12-14. Deut14v22-29 before u read malachi 3v7-12 and relate all three portions. And don't forget that tithing was instituted in deuteronomy

The way my Church goes about this tithe stuff i am beginning to think there is more to it than meets the eye..To the point that they will threaten you of going to hell if u dont pay and claim you are robbing God... Last Sunday the Pastor announced that it will be a prerequisite for marriage in the Church.. Damn! Leviticus 27:30-33 shows [size=14pt]there was a penalty for wanting to pay tithe in form of money[/size]. You paid extra 20%. It's discouraged and even not permitted for animal rearers. Perhaps, paying with money defeated one of the purposes of tithing. How could the poor feed from the tithes? How could one eat money?

Some questions to consider....

1. The Levitical tithe was given to the Levites, who would in turn give the "Lord's portion" of the tithes received to the priest; Numbers 18:25-28 {https:///MuTguJ}. If your pastor received tithes from you, which high priest whould he give the "Lord's portion" of the tithes to? Does he give a tithe of the tithes he collected from the people to the Lord’s offering as instructed in Numbers 18?


2. The annual-festival tithe and poor tithes were to be eaten by the Levites, the people, the defenceless and the poor; Deut. 14:22-27, Deut. 18:28-29. Yes, the tithes have to be eaten before the Lord. How does one eat money that modern tithe preachers preach should given as tithes?

3. A further proof that tithes were agricultural produce could be found in Leviticus 25:1-7 where, during the 7th year, the Israelites didn't tithe because it's a year of no planting. Why do ministers demand tithes year in, year out, without giving the 7th year leave?
