Base is beeswax (it acts as a barrier so keeps moisture out). Then add coconut oil, Shea butter, Olive oil and then add whatever ingredients you like. Some people like a few drops of lavender essential oil or other healing oil. I'll post pics in a bit

Madam,she needs water o,breastmilk is no substitute for water once u stop exclusive.keep giving her wt a spoon at close intervals..my baby didnt take water @ all for abt 3weeks after i stopped exclusive...it was war o..if u force her she wont swallow,after crying wld just pour everything out...constipation is real..after 1 week of not pooing and always grunting,I had to beg my mum to come administer enema..i had bluntly refused before cos i read its not so safe for babies...thats how we got by for 3weeks till she started taking water and fruits o..u can also try using a dropper to give her water

Ayam just comin from the pharmacy,as the hospital z a bit far from us.i decided to improvised the pharmacist gave us altmal...hope i got the spellin rightly,with bonababe and pcm.hav givn her the altmal and the temperature haz reduced,she z sleepin.chai motherhood z an experience.

Yes u can since he's almost 4 months. Get d cereal from 4months and try for him. Babies sure differ in their ways(growth and development)

@Ahnie, your bae is most likely teething.
Dip a towel in tap water( not warm or cold), wring and apply to head and body. You have to do this severally till temperature drops. You may also use normal dose of pcm for her age and watch how long it takes for the temp to rise again. If the temp persists after 3 days consult your Dr.

I dont use teething drugs o, so I dont have any to recommend to you. Pcm or Ibuprofen( when the fever is extraordinarily high) and wet clothe stuff always does the trick.


@ Smokeydrinky, if your baby is on EBF, you have no cause for alarm. Is he growing bigger? ( it means the baby is utilising all available nutrients and nothing goes to waste hence no poop), is the stomach constantly hard to touch?
You can try eating fruits or drink plenty ewedu soup. You will poop and so will your LO.
Dont give water if you are truly on EXCLUSIVE.


My own question, my baby's ear refused to heal after the piercing. It was bringing out pus despite the fact that we cleaned with spirit every 2hrs.We removed the earring and the tiny hole closed up. We had to re-pierce at the same spot and put thread. Now it looks dry but I am still afraid of putting earrings o.

I agree with mytestimony,cos when my DS was running temperature pple kept saying na teeth o,thank God I took him to the hosp and was treated for malaria after running some test cos uptil now no teeth,so sometimes no be teeth o

Change the ear ring. Happened wit my girl, but hers didn't block, I just changed her ear ring and we hv bn fine ever since den.
Na diamond princess wan dey wear for ear oo so please don't do aroro on top all d moni u dey collect for form and everything

Your baby may have a nickel allergy like me....you can google it and read up

The solution is to buy a small gold earring (or any nickel free earring) for her.

I hear original GL earrings are also nickel free, don't know where to get tho

For my daughter I dint wait to find out if she had the allergies I just bought gold
