When we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior, we know He has conquered sin in our life. It is through His death that our sins have been cleansed and no longer to be remembered. Jesus’ life makes the difference. "Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him” (Romans 4:7-cool.

Pride - quality or state of being proud – inordinate self esteem: “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall” (Proverbs 16:18).

Gluttony – excess in eating and drinking: “for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags” (Proverbs 23:21).

Greed - excessive or reprehensible acquisitiveness: “Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more” (Ephesians 4:19).

Laziness – disinclined to activity or exertion: not energetic or vigorous: “The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns, but the path of the upright is a highway” (Proverbs 15:19).

Wrath – strong vengeful anger or indignation: “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” (Proverbs 15:1)

Envy – painful or resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by another joined with a desire to possess the same advantage: “Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation” (1 Peter 2:1-2).

Lust – to have an intense desire or need: “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:28).

why not talked on how to love one another, things that will bring rest of mind, peace and harmony, happiness and any BEAUTIFUL things of the heart but you are here talking of sins that you know of! Bringing the heart to the state of unrest.

Did Jesus told you to always talk about sin undecided
Why did he said you should preach the good news of love and how his father is love and how he came to take away your sins, but you are here talking RUBBISH that leterally has no effect on the viewers.

Nigga! Please take your self sin conscious to your self and probably your family

Sin consciousness is what your post is all about

Hebrews 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

Sin consciousness results to remember unto sin. I wonder why believer searches himself daily to see if He has wrong any body. That's being sin conscious.

Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

Everyday I see baby born again christains ask for forgiveness I have never sin in the entire new Testament where any of the disciples or apostles pray for forgiveness of sin. But see what Paul said

1 Timothy 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Abstaining from those things by your carnal nature is not possible. Some of us baby christain believers still preach that people should forsake their sins then follow Jesus. Its wrong. If I can forsake my sins then, I don't need Jesus. Remember He came for the unrighteous which include every man created because no man is righteous. Abraham's righteousness was counted unto him because he believed God not base on works.

Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

To conclude this my dear brother. BY NATURE... we are SINNERS, BUT BY FAITH we are RIGHTEOUS (SAINTS)
SHALOM!!!!!!!

You just dey talk up and down and failed to hit the point. My broda, Jesus, when he taught his disciples how to pray which we pray also said"God should forgive us our sins as we forgive others also". The grace of God should not be taken as a child's play,we all have to strive to avoid SIN becos it is un pleasing to God

Flee all appearances of sin....for out out of the abundance of the heart, d mouth speaketh"

Let me ask all of u that indulge in masturbation: What goes tru ur mind when u r in d act?
Is it any different from this who engage in sexual activities? Is the end product of such acts diff from fornication?
Do u feel kul to pray after such act?

We have the spirit of Christ to direct us in all righteousness And for a man to wake up n say because maturbation isn't expressly written in the Bible therefore Itz no sin, such is not lead by d Spirit.

are you now saying we can live throughout our life in this sinful world without committing any sin?why Jesus describe our righteous as a rags?why Jesus say we shld be a pusual of GRACE?if its by our work I don't think any one can see GOD but by GRACE we are his child through Jesus Christ, I'm not saying you shld be committing sins because whatever you plant you shall reap, all sin will come under measurement and judgement...if you are under GRACE and LOVE of Jesus Christ, spirit of sin will die naturaly in you and you will become child of most high.......get Jesus first you will understand better...God bless us happy sunny day, shallon

I read his post carefully and couldnt help but agree with you. What we have nowadays are christians that have refused to grow and transcend the level they were at when they gave their lives to christ. The subject of grace and mercy has been totally twisted to fit their livestyles. They forget that the narrow way leads to eternal life, that after being saved you need to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

How wonderful it is to see a brother in faith. I have for years preached this awesome guspel to people and had even distributed a book that treatd the nature of man and the type of faith we should have before God

I strongly believe in my heart that u tempest69 must have come across this same book am talking about because what you posted here on nairaland is a "strange guspel", a hidden truth. The only truth that portrays God's righteousness.

The title of the book is HAVE YOU TRULY BEEN BORN AGAIN OF WATER AND SPIRIT . Brother if u have read this book, continue in ur own work of preaching it, but if u hav not, it will be made available to u free of charge. As many as u want for ur bible study and for the spreading of the this guspel truth.

One can not find it in the market and even if you finds it , it could be that there is a leak in the chain of distribution. Please if u really believe in what u just posted here is my Email:darlingtonjudeberry@gmail.com for I have longed to see a brother or a sister in Christ who really believe in Christ the way I do. Remain blessed tempest69

Congrats! Mature Christian!

In other words, "do not forsake sin, Do not confess sin, Live carefree, commit adultery, fornication, basically suit yourself, it's all taken care of by Christ. Just have faith!"
I haven't heard a more heretical sermon than yours. Whatever happened to Titus 2:11-12, "For the grace of God which bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world".
Check out the scriptures you twisted out of context. Read them sincerely and see if you honestly conveyed the true meaning of everyone of them. English isn't that hard to grasp.
If you want to live in sin, become an unbeliever and enjoy yourself, its not compulsory to bear the identity, Christian! The entire new testament repeatedly warns us against sin. Please check Eph 5:3-13 for more enlightenment . I know people like you are of the stock with ogly eyes looking for Sisters in Church to bed! Be careful, God is not mocked!

If you are in Christ Embassy, as I suspect, look for another Church that preaches truth and join. You won't make heaven following that crap you wrote on there for a doctrine! A word is enough for the Wise!

Sometimes I wonder how all this online saints behave at their various places. Jesus said you should remove the timber in your eye before you can help your neighbor to remove the piece of wood in his eye.. Today some people even believe they are holier than Jesus Himself. May God help us to understand Him better and not all this hypocrisy...
