He didn't change anything really only preached well. Something like a Talib but not a Killer Mike or Technique. A Talib with more fame. See K.Dot. For me, in terms of intelligence he's in the class of Aesop Rock with a rare show of humility you will find in Kendrick Lamar and a similar story telling ability. His freestyles punch like Eyedea battling. I think Kendrick Lamar is the evidence of his influence in rap music. He did exactly what K.Dot is doing. He's a Rap God.

I was surprised to see him on the list too. His influence in the music industry probably got him there. Dude is a producer, a rapper, an actor, a singer, an instrumentalist - and he's into fashion too - but not much of a lyricist. He should have been on the 'Greatest rappers' list instead.
