hello guys,
i dated this guy for three months plus before he finally called off the relationship early this month. we met in January through a friend, we hit it off and got talking, fast forward to 6 months, he finally asked me out.. but i noticed he wont call (He can go on for a week without calling me, sometimes when i call he wont pick nor return the call, i practically always leave a "please call me back" message before he will eventually return my missed calls), most times i do the calling and chatting.. it just felt like he wasnt emotionally involved in the relationship and whenever i confronted him about communication, he would tell me that that's how he was structured and that he might not change, i asked him severally if there was anything fundamentally wrong as i was ready to help him through it, he claimed nothing was wrong.

I had a no sex policy when we started dating which he agreed to and we talked about the extent we were going to go to with romance..while this was what i truly wanted, i noticed that he never ever asked me for sex (normally i have a hard time convincing guys who have interest in me that there will be no sex in the relationship), he never ever spoke about it which was very strange and not because he is all religious.. what made my fears more profound is the fact that when i brought up a topic about gays, he was all defensive about them, saying that gays are not disturbing people from living their life and that he had nothing against any law being signed into Nigeria legalizing gay rights. I also showed him a funny video where gay activities were being made fun of, while i was laughing all through the video , he on the other hand didnt laugh, all he said was 'what is the business of the person who made the video, how are the gays disturbing him"..i was shocked to say the least but i never confronted him. He also told me about some weird people in his life, one of his friends based abroad who doesnt want anything to do with any lady and never wants to get married, and one of his cousins who just wants a contract marriage where the lady would just have kids and she will be paid off.. He also said that if he was to get married, his wife to be must sign a pre-nup before marriage in case of any eventuality.. i never understood what he meant by that

to cut the long story short he broke up with me because he said he cannot give me the kind of attention i wanted, which was calling and communicating with me regularly. i have searched and searched myself to see if i ever did anything wrong..all i did was love him with my heart, i called most of the times, i went to see him virtually every weekend, in our three months of dating we never went out as a couple, the birthday gift which i bought for him, he never bothered to open up till the time we broke up.

so i have decided that it is safe to assume that he is gay.. oh i forgot to add that he only dated one girl before me and the girl left because he wasnt given her attention(that's what he told me)... and he never let me freely access his phone all the while we dated.. he was either always on his phone chatting or plugged.. and i felt like i couldnt touch the phone....so what do you guys really think??
