not even the entire senate can scrap a ministry. Only the president can create or scrap ministry. A ministry is only a department in the executive..it has nothing to do with the senate..talkless of one senator

i beg to disagree sir! in a corrupt country like ours a senator might be constitutionally more powerful than a minister (especially when he is in the midst of other senators) but financially a senator and a minister are not in the same league.......imagine how much these ministries get as allocation on monthly basis

You are still talking about the senate as a body. We are talking about a single senator. For example, the senators from rivers state alone have no power over Amaechi today. They couldn't even stop his nomination and they also can never remove him.

also when both of them attends a public function, the ministers name gets mentioned before the senator, except the senator is the SP or DSP
