EUROBOMBER:Kano is the commercial centre of the north? I have never been to Kano so I wouldn't know. Ask your self, if you were an IPOB member, where would it make more sense to protest for maximum effect? Lagos the commercial nerve centre of Ngeria or a regional commercial nerve centre like Kano? |

fx45:That is why I said you guys are wicked and envious of your successful Igbo brothers in Lagos and looking for every means to destroy and ruin them. Truly the greatest enemy of the Igbo is the Igbo. If you like, go and protest in Lagos, you will NEVER get Biafra, simple. |

EUROBOMBER:I may not want Biafra for now , But let me educate you what democracy is all about, we are in a democratic government are we not? i think we are, so anyone have the right to stage a protest in any part of the Country even foreigners have the right to do so as long as it is a peaceful protest. So don't cry if they want to stage a protest in Lagos its their right and there is nothing you or anyone can do about it including the security as long they are not doing anything illegal . I say it again it is their God given right . |

EUROBOMBER:Because we are not a part of nigeria. We will shout if isis was brought here too. But since you believe were a part of you, why would block or threaten our protest if under your alleged constitution we have the right to. All you did was prove us right nigeria is a failed state and lawless zoo. Someone will be threatened for doing something legal because they're Igbo This is why nigeria failed. Most people outside of biafra can reason at all. Were we saying were a part of Ireland when we protested there? |

jamjo:And are they trying to achieve protesting in the enemy territory. You people are forgetting the Ore saga. You can have your Biafra, but don't bring it to the SW it's none of our business. |

jamjo:Do you see how these people think? Look at how igbo people on this thread are trying to explain democracy rights and written law to sophisticated products of free education. We arent the same as these people at ALL. Something a Biafran can do in Paris and Barcelona he cant do in Lagos? Even if its legal. |
| Re: IPOB Dare Not Protest In Lagos. by OBAGADAFFI: 7:49pm On Nov 28, 2015 |
Ikengawo:Paris and other foreign land are neutral grounds. Why was Aburi Ghana used for negotiations, instead of Lagos or any other Nigerian territory. |

OBAGADAFFI:Biafrans have the right to a peaceful protest in Lagos Why To let Nigerians know that we are tired of One Nigeria |
| Re: IPOB Dare Not Protest In Lagos. by OBAGADAFFI: 8:03pm On Nov 28, 2015 |
BlackTechnology:And what's your definitions of peaceful protest, known very well you're doing it in hostile territory. You're not looking at the bigger picture. |
| Re: IPOB Dare Not Protest In Lagos. by BlackTechnology: 8:07pm On Nov 28, 2015 |
OBAGADAFFI:The Best protest is to take it to the enemy Let them know you are fed up |

EUROBOMBER:You seem to be one of the most confused nairalander. Why are you mentioning Kano, Maiduguri when the topic is about Lagos? Certainly, they're not going to protest in all south west states after protesting in Lagos, so as they won't protest in all northern states after protesting in abuja. So what's the noise about? |

Like joke like joke Igbos are turning every other tribe against themselves. Like joke like joke Southern Nigerians are beginning to see Igbos as agents provocateur. Like joke like joke the relative peace that exists in the South is been threatened by these akpu-eating Igbos. Like joke like joke the fault lines of tribalism is been widened/deepened because the Igbos have no concept of mutual respect.Today, I tell you fellow Nairalanders, something is gonna happen in this country that we will all wish we had nipped in the bud at inception. This level of tribal animosity been stoked by the akpu-eaters MUST get an outlet. All it takes is for one non-Igbo person to be killed during a protest and Nigeria will lit up like an inferno. The tribal tension is definitely increasing and am beginning to see it not just online but offline as well. A few days ago, two of my friends, one Ijaw and the other Itshekiri, were bitterly telling me over drinks how they DETEST the idea of Biafra because of the war crimes committed by Ojukwu and his men against Niger Deltans during the war. Mind you these are guys who have NEVER expressed in negative opinion about Igbos in my presence before but now deem it fit to complain about Igbos' greed and their Biafra agitation. Funny enough, the tribe that the Igbos hate the most, the Yorubas, are the most sympathetic to their plight offline. All the Yorubas I have spoken to till date basically said they have no problem with Biafra if it makes the Igbos happy. I am yet to meet a single amala-eater offline who is staunchly opposed to Biafra. Part of these I believe is that the Yorubas, more than any other Nigerian group, understand the mentality of the Igbos and see no point in sharing a country with them. Where the Igbos disrespectful conduct is causing the most damage is in the South South. I was visiting Warri when they were agitating in PH. I remember more than a few Itshekiris, Urhobos and Isokos (my people) laughing at the idea of a similar protest in Warri. These are people who would identify with Igbos on a normal day but when the issue of Biafra comes up, there is a lot of raw feeling of betrayal of Niger Deltans by Igbos that the Igbos greatly underestimate. I guarantee you, because of the recent clamor for Biafra if you took a poll of Nigerians today about their feelings toward Igbos I can guarantee you that positive opinions towards Igbos are at an all time low. This is due to some of the reasons I have mentioned earlier but also because MOST Nigerians believe that IF GEJ had been reelected Igbos would not be making a pip about IPOB or Biafra. And the evidence on ground supports this suspicion. Nigeria was already a country on edge but the Igbos are relentlessly driving this country over the proverbial cliff - yet another pogrom will NOT guarantee a Balkanized Nigeria. If I was the US CIA and I wanted to break up Nigeria then this is the perfect opportunity (of course there is no evidence that America wants to see a Balkanized Nigeria but its an interesting hypothetical). Like joke like joke history might be repeating itself. A wise man once said "Those that don't learn from history are bound to repeat it."
