Some say; Dating which is also known as courtship is the sole aim of enabling partners get to know things about each other. Their likes, dislikes, attributes, and so on, but marriages still ends in divorce cos of one of the mentioned above. So what's the essence of dating?

You both have had sex countless times before marriage so as to know if you sexually active or not.
There'd be a time when one of the duo would no more have the urge for sex. What's the other expected to do?
I believe the ''Self-discovery'' should be in other areas too, not sex alone.
