The lady is intelligent. She made it through Secondary school and passed her O Level. She has hearing aids. She never asked for special treatment which means she can cope. If she fails, you can then advice her to withdraw.

I know someone with hearing impairment that was admitted to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka! This boy never saw himself as being different from the others, needless to say he graduated with his set and doing well now? The girl should sue the school

This is the carelessness some of us display thinking it doesn't matter, but obviously, it matters a lot. As a student with hearing aids what is the pair of aids doing at home when they are meant to be with you always?

The school is very wrong to have de-registered her anyway. Worse comes to worst, they could have watched her for a session to see how she copes with school. If they can't handle, refer her for transfer NOT make her lose time and money plus esteem

it is fault of medical doctors who felt she would not cope with learning. they are wrong. it is obvious they are naive. they are expected to screen for communicable diseases not permanent disabilities that do not really interfere with learning.

He is not half - baked.

He is very sound upstairs.
Just that he is an IKWERRE man.
They are Always stubborn, arrogant and lack aura.
They lack patience, no matter their academic echelon.

Even the Prof. Emeritus among them, still end up marrying upto 4 wives, having long chain of children.
These are people who lived half of their years, abroad.

My advise to u is be strong,nigeria system of education is crap if u knw u can afford it pls goto ghana and school,under 4yrs u r done if u r smarter 3 yrs u will hv ur degree,I don't blame d rich and govt officals sending their children to school outside the nigeria.

Get a good lawyer and sue their asses. If you can't get one, go to the Public Defender's office in your state. That's outright discrimination.

The picture below is that of Haben Girma, an African girl who is the first blind and deaf student to graduate from the Havard Law School. She is so well regarded and hailed as an example in America that Barrack Obama honoured her at the White House.
If Haben had the misfortune to be born a Nigerian, her story would have been no different from that of this poor girl in Rivers State.
Nigerians are EVIL people. No apologies for the harshness of my language here. I'm quite sure that if it was to spend millions to buy official cars for the VC and other high ranking officers, no expenses would be spared. But when it comes to spending money to make a difference in this girl's life by providing her with the right equipment to fulfill her potentials, then all of a sudden there is no money. EVIL PEOPLE
