No freedom of speech then.

This is rubbish
I warned about a planned total clampdown on social media by the government yesterday and also last month, even yesterday olisa metuh warned about this move. Already many social media accounts are now been monitored and traced . Very soon I wont be surprised if online critics of this government are picked up and arrested without trial. When fayose and pdp said that the nation was moving towards dictatorial rule many ppl thought they were raising false alarm

Nice question
massinola:
And what jail term or fine awaits an individual, firm, organizations, group of people, or government that makes unrealistic promises to another and comes back to deny them. we are waiting and watching.

Chei i wanted to ask this now. Buhari and APC should know we are not in 1984.Any government that doesn't want criticism , yes criticism should keep to her promise simple. It has nothing to do with false comments, they are only trying to run away from criticism.

Nigerians should protest these types of bills that trample on the fundamental rights of others.

This bill will deny Nigerians the freedom of expression, freedom to form an opinion, freedom to say what you may especially online. This bill is meant to silence Nigerians from attacking government policies.

They want to turn Nigeria to Saudi Arabia attaching a 2year jail term when you voice out against persons, government or companies. This bill must not pass, the earlier Nigerians voice out against it,the better for us in this country.
u are just wasting your energy. we told them, they refused to listen. its a pity they are just beginning to understand now.

They should prepare to arrest and jail 17 0 million people then they will govern only themselves. Nonsense. Upon how they mismanage our resources, we still can't talk?

APC came to power through propaganda, hence they know the power of the media. Ogbu nma adighi ekwe ka ejiri nma ga ya azu!! If this bill is passed without a protest from the masses, then we all should be prepared for the worse...

Are you and the 17 simpletons that liked your post so daft that you cannot see the danger in this? Are you so blind that you cannot see how this can easily be abused into censorship?

Oh what what shame! The NASS, this NASS, didn't find it worthy of granting electoral offenders, 2years and proscription from playing any active role or part in politics for life- or dashing these same people, jail for life for stealing other people's mandates? - they didn't find it important to give the full punishment for corrupt people - who stole Nigerian common patrimony - the death sentence- it is common people that peddle un-substantiated information which can be sorted by giving superior honest information that they are facing - well in patience voice, no be repeat be dis? Well if it's for people like that igbo boy! That runs radio biafria well - fine, we go manage!
