Hi Rebe/all

How did you recreate your profile? Did you successfully create a new one then delete the old one? or you delete the current then recreate?
Kindly advise. I have been in the pool since January and my point raised to 420 in September. I had hoped to get a Letter of Interest from Ontario PNP but still waiting...

Thank you very much!

Hello everyone, I have read the entire post in fact my eyes de red.
Hubby and I are planning on applying next year by God's grace, but I will like to confirm some few things.
1. regarding certificate evaluation. Hubby and I both have ond (diploma) which we both used for direct entry into the uni. Meanin we spent 3 years in the university. Will evaluating both the diploma and degree give points? Reason why I ask, the polytechnic I did my diploma is way to far from where we reside now. It will be difficult for me to go there and hustle for the transcripts which might not be something they can do in a day and I have a child. If the diploma would add more marks, I found this site online where They claim to render transcripts services https://www.etx-ng.com. Fee is 43k. I don't know how real the site is or their claims. I just wanted to be sure my diploma would add some reasonable points before I dash some site free money.
Abeg any correction on my writing? I'm practicing for ielts too. Lol
Thank you all.

You can say so.

Initiated an application with them in April, after a WHOLE lot of phone calls my transcript was finally sent in last week in July.

Basically all they do is just request for your transcript from your school. They don't pursue it with any sense of urgency. After your school is through, they'll send it to them.

At the end of the day, you are still at the mercy of the your schools efficient (or in most cases inefficient) bureaucracy and protocol.
It will be cheaper and more effective if you got someone from your school to help you out with that, that person might even come in handy when WES requests a verification.

Just my 2 cowries

Okay thanks. Any advice on if it's worth evaluating the 2 certificates? What point difference would the diploma add to the bsc?

If you're Bsc is your highest Qualification, just evaluate that. Don't bother with the other.

The diploma was done before your Bsc and as such, it wont give you extra marks. You only get marks for two certificates if the diploma was done after your first degree

'letter of no objection'.... please who asked you to register and obtain a letter of no objection. How long have you being practising mechanical engineering and are you currently located in Canada?

I know someone that AINP contacted to obtain a letter of no objection from APEGA to qualify in 2012 and he eventually landed due to this info. Answering questions above will assist in guiding you appropriately. APEGA registeration takes a while, depending on schools you will request transcript from and your referees but response to no objection request is very fast. (less than a week)

Doggys:
Good day everyone. I intend applying for pnp in alberta and am a mechanical engineer with noc 2132. Below in the link i'm been asked to register with apega and obtain a no letter of rejection. Is it necessary for me?

Educational Credential Assessments – how to read your report

If you want to become an Express Entry candidate, and you have had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA), you can find out below how many points you will get.

Points are used to rank candidates once they get into the Express Entry pool.

Your result will be marked on your report as the Canadian equivalent to the foreign degree, diploma or certificate you had assessed. Find the result in the first column of the table below and you can see information about your points.

If you are being assessed to get into the pool through the Federal Skilled Worker Program, there is a separate points grid for this. The points for this grid are included as well.

Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.
Important notice: One must be for a program of three or more years.

Saskatchewan Express Entry Category has opened again. If you are in the EE Pool and your occupation is listed as one of those they need people for(after opening the site, scroll down to look for Application Guide. When you've clicked and opened it, scroll to the last 2 or 3 pages, the occupations are listed there), quickly go and apply before the Indians fill the spaces again:
