What if Leo will never win an Oscar? What if 20 years from now Martin Scorsese directs a biopic of Leo DiCaprio? By that time, Leo would be 60 and Martin, 92. What if the actor that plays Leo DiCaprio wins an Oscar for portraying Leo in the movie? Wouldn't that be another thing that makes life beautiful... for the actor? I imagine his speech would sound like “Thank you... I succeeded where you failed, Leo”. That thought made me shudder. Leo is a stellar actor why hasn’t he won an Oscar? What hasn’t he done? It seems like an actor has to do something extreme, hardcore to win an Oscar. I’m referring to extreme a la Anne Hathaway cutting her hair in Les Miserables. Is it until DiCaprio really gorges out his eyes in a movie that he’ll clinch the Oscar? Could it be that some gal somewhere jinxed him? Leo’s dating history shows that he has something for supermodels. He’s dated six! My mind tells me that he scorned an “ugly” gal somewhere and she’s voodoo-ing him. |

I can assume this because sometime in 2005, a model, Aretha Wilson, hit him over the head with a broken bottle at a party in Hollywood. She said she thought he was an ex-boyfriend that had been bad-mouthing her. A two-month-old baby won’t buy that story. I think she might have had a crush on him and when she knew she couldn't have him, she decided to disfigure and configure his face. Everything is possible. So far, Leo won awards for the following movies: The Great Gatsby, The Departed, Romeo + Juliet, Titanic, The Wolf of Wall Street, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, The Aviator, Django Unchained, Revolutionary Road, Inception, Catch Me If You Can, and Shutter Island Did you know that DiCaprio won an award for any movie title that started with “The”? Based on this, I am assuming and hoping that he’ll win an Oscar for his portrayal of Hugh Glass the upcoming movie The Revenant. Wait and see! Has anyone told you what he had to do on set of the movie? He had to grow his beard and moustache to look like a hobo. That is nothing in comparison to what he actually did. He told YahooMovies: “I can name 30 or 40 sequences that were some of the most difficult things I've ever had to do... Whether it's going in and out of frozen rivers, or sleeping in animal carcasses, or what I ate on set. Who the hell is UGLICIA?  Really can't say why Leo hasn't won an Oscar yet. If his performances in Titanic, Catch Me If You Can, Inception, Wolf Of Wall Street...to mention a few, hasn't been considered Oscar worthy, then, that plaque may never adorn his wall. |

Well, I believe he hasn't won an oscar because the actors in the categories he is normally nominated in, had better acting performances than him. Take last year's Oscar award for example. Leo did very good in Wolf of wall street, but Matthew's performance in Dallas buyers club was inarguably better than Leo's. Leo couldn't have played the lead role in dallas buyers club the way Matthew did, but Matthew could have acted Leo's role in wolf of wall street better than Leo did. So I don't think there is any conspiracy, I think is just a matter of leo having better actors in his Oscar nomination category. |

Decker:Bro. I tried to avoid an arguement. I'm sorry I watched both movies bro. Leo's performance in Wolf of wall street was better! There was a transition in personalities, leo handled the transition very well, that was extra work. Even more than matthew had in dallas buyers club, I smelled politics in that win.. Dallas buyers club was a real life story of a HIV patient, white people get emotional and stuff like that, so you see why matthew won... Even the great gatsby was a far better movie, from the cost to the theme! EVerything! But the wolf of wall street wasn't just a movie, it was a phenomenon. Leo's transition From this innocent young accountant-like guy to an extravagant druggie billionaire was perfect! He played everything right! He went completely out of the actor's natural behaviour and he was flawless Look at matthew, he acted a character who has a similar lifestyle. Reckless and what not.. obiorathesubtle:I get you. But I hope you know Matthew also acted in Wolf of wall street? He killed his role there too. Wolf of wall street was also a true life story and it was emotional, in it's own way. Chinwetel Ejiorfor was also nominated alongside the two for his role in a film that was more emotional than Dallas buyers club. And talking about transition, Matthew was the one that transitioned from his real self to an Aid's patient. He had to starve himself of food, and loose a lot of weight just so he could be Ron Woodroof. He lived his role and he earned it. I don't think Leo could have played Ron Woodroof the way Matthew did. Anyone could have played Leo's role in wolf of wall street, and even better than he did. In fact, I think Jonah Hill had a better performance in Wolf of wall street than Leo did. |

Decker: I sense a resentment towards Leo, but that's okay. Let us agree to disagreeI was talking about a transition in the movie, not off the set. A lot of actors n actresses go on diets, hair cuts and stuff like that to fit in to the character, it's like a normal thing. I was talking about how Leo changed as the story transcended in the picture, not off the set or in real life. Lol. You funny, just that minor role matthew played in wolf of wall street? Really decker?? He appeared in like what? 5-8 scenes? You know, just because of that Aids factor, the movie was sort of a tribute to the actual guy who had the disease. And you know how white people are with tributes?? See you again by wiz khalifa and charlie puth is still high on the charts because it's sortof a tribute to paul walker. Anyway. I watched Dallas buyers club severally but I couldn't pinpoint any tin extraordinary in Matthew's performance. Jared letto's performance was what blew my mind. Leo nailed his role so well |
