Whoever told you that is as hypocritical as the man that said he hasn't taken bribe before. Fraud is fraud and should not be entertained in any decent society. That I support you in an election does not mean that I will condone vice that is linked to you or your government. I'm first a Nigerian before anything else. It is the job of sycophants and zombies to defend fraud and defend anything done by their party chiefs
Tonye Barcanista, nothing can be worse dan a man who stands for nothing. 1st it was APC, u tried to lobby for funds and all, u left for pdp, now u r gradually going bk to APC. That is why Tinubu will forever get my respect even though I am pro-pdp. The man has always been on one side and he is a man that can say to his followers go, they will go knowing he won't sell out or decamp. A man who stands for nothing, falls for anything.

Yes, PDP Governments in the past either lack the political will or turn blind eye to thes fraudulent acts but it doesn't exonerate perpetrators of the act irrespective of partisan leaning. One thing I admire about this government is the show of political will. That's commendable and we hope to see it spread across all thieves irrespective of whether umbrella or broom.

May you live long. By now series of phone calls and meetings must be going between the thiefs in the last administration. They are trembling cos they know dasuki wont want to go down alone. I think there is no way GEJ wont be implicated if further revelations surfaces. He was a good man but allowed so much impunity to thrive. my only dissapointment in this administration would be if no one goes to jail. Our futures and our unborn children's future have been looted and we have been turned to debtors for life. sad
not only going to jail! Their properties both home and abroad must all be seized! All their bank accounts must be freezed and the monies therein confiscated!they must be stripped to their last pennies!

See guy, I think my post should tell you that I don't relegate the country's interest for those of the morally bankrupt in the society. I don't need you to patrionise me or praise me.... I never sought for that.

It is okay if you don't share my view, it is actually your business not mine. But it is silly for you to think that I give a damn to whatever negative perception you have of me. Please, swerve!
If you really know me, at least from my post on this forum, you'd really reconsider your thoughts about me.

But unlike you, it becomes my business to call you to order or bring to your attention issues I feel that your comments and analysis have a way of misinforming, distorting or creating a mirage/vague view of the facts on ground.

You can say you don't need it, but my message has been sent across to you. That's the intended purpose.

What is most expected from people like you, people who feel and think they know, is that they do not allow themselves to dance to the music.

I do not have any problem with anybody being investigated or probed....I'm interested in a better Nigeria.

But unlike you, I don't waste my time on irrelevant wars and battles.

And since you are so 'disappointed' by GEJ, be reminded that it was GEJ's refusal to be distracted by political fights and settling that made people like you at one time sing his praise.

Lastly, as a reminder, help me send this message to the new Sheriff in town:

raymond dokpesi =2.1billion
bafarawa =4.6billion
david mark=10.billion;
total money embezzled =640 billion
accounted for so far=17billion
640-17= 623billion.

oh boy still a very long way to go!!! this guys are the real boko haram(impeding the fight against insurgency by diverting money meant for such purpose).

Barcanista, Dokpesi did not say he collected 2.1 from Sambo for 2015 elections.

At your level you should be able to sieve lies and propaganda from a story before swallowing it.
The APC media fabricated that lie in their media for gullible Nigerians.

Fine, the man admitted his media companies do business with FG but Can you quote him word for
word where he ever claimed to have collected "N2.1 billion from the former NSA as payment for publicity and media for political campaigns during the 2015 General Elections.”?.

Thank you Mr. Barcanista for standing up for the truth, i have being waiting for your opinion since the begining of this issue. I was strongly against Jonathan re-election bid during the passed presidential election even though i don't have any personal problem with him. But it sounded hilarious to me when ever i read your comments supporting Jonathan from your own point of view. I was against Jonathan for some reasons: Looking at the Oil price/revenue during Jonathan regime, you will agree with me that more money was made compared to others before him. Now looking at our foreign reserve; if you check the trend from Obasanjo, Yar Adua and Jonathan, you will discover that Jonathan regime was worst than any others despite the fact that he generated better income, little research will do you some good. Imaging if Jonathan should govern our dear Nation for another four years with all these revelations.

Barcanista, as logical as your postulations might be, practically, it does not seem to be in tandem with the realities in our govt bureaucracies. Ordinarily, the office of NSA should not be seen to have anything to do with party campaigns or anything outside Security but this is not straight-jacketed.

1. National Security is not about the police, military or paramilitary affairs only, it involves everything about the life of any sitting govt. Ensuring that such govt is not ousted from power (by whatever means) is a joint responsibility of the NSA and other govt officials.

2. Media advertisements against insurgency and expositions on individuals who are seen as enemies of the State also fall under the jurisdiction of the NSA and any fund allotted to his office can be used appropriately as situation requires..

3. Excess Funds from Security Votes can be redirected for other pressing needs.

4. Dokpesi has explained the purpose for which the money he received was meant for. It's now left for the court to establish the veracity of his claim. After all every govt in power pumps money into NTA for image laundering and campaign purposes.

We all support any fight against corruption but it must be done with sincerity of purpose. Buhari should explain where his party got his campaign funds from.

I was shocked when I heard/and read of the arrest of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi over his connection with the alleged diversion of $2.2 billion or N640billion meant for arms purchase. Raymond Dokpesi was not a public office holder, he isn't a military chief, neither is he an ex-military man. He isn't a known security contractor. So how did Dokpesi come in contact with N2.1 billion meant for arms purchase? I couldn't answer these questions. I had to wait for his own statement. Fortunately, his DAAR office released a statement which I quote in part...

"Dokpesi explained to the EFCC officials that the N2.1 billion that he collected from the former NSA was payment for for publicity and media political campaigns during the 2015 General Elections.”.
www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/194303-why-i-collected-n2-1-bn-from-ex-nsa-dasuki-dokpesi.html

Explanation Defies Logic...
Sincerely, the explanation of High Chief Dokpesi has several flaws and loopholes. I mean why should we believe Dokpesi that the N2.1 billion paid into his account was for political campaign publicity when the NSA office under Sambo Dasuki was not the Directorate of Finance of PDP Presidential Campaign organisation(PDPPCO)? Was Col Dasuki Sambo the Director of Finance for PDP Presidential Campaign organisation? If there was need for media publicity deal between the PDPPCO and DAAR Communication, was it not the duty of the Director of Publicity (PDPPCO) Fani Kayode to negotiate such deal? If there should be any payment, was it not the duty of Senator (Mrs) Nenadi Usman, the Finance Director of PDPPCO? Wouldn't the money come from the purse of PDPPCO? Is the nation's treasury co-owned by the PDPPCO? How do we now explain the connection between N2.1billion from our treasury to Raymond Dokpesi? Is Dokpesi in any way trying to tell us that Sambo Dasuki on behalf of PDPPCO diverted monies meant for arms purchase for political media publicity of PDP?

PDPPCO Denies Raymond Dokpesi
While pondering on Dokpesi's claim that the whopping N2.1 billion was meant for political campaign, the PDPPCO campaign Director of Media and Publicity, Mr Fani Kayode only recently denies ever having any deal with Dokpesi. An excerpt from his statement reads...

“As far as we are concerned, we don’t have anything to do with the payment made to Dokpesi for publicity.

“Dokpesi is not part of the Presidential Campaign Organisation. We have the structure; you know the Director General, you know the directors. We did not spend one kobo from the public fund."

I believe that someone isn't telling the truth. We need to see the contractual papers between PDPPCO and Dokpesi to determine whether or not PDPPCO was really involved in the N2.1billion fraud.

Raymond Dokpesi Indicted Sambo Dasuki
Without sounding emotional, I believe that Dokpesi's statement though not convincing has further indicted Sambo Dasuki in this arms purchase fraud saga. It is incumbent on Sambo Dasuki to come clean by explaining how N2.1 billion of Nigeria's fund meant for arms procurement moved to Dokpesi's account without even the knowledge of the former finance minister Okonjo Iwaela. Sambo must explain to us how a whopping N4.6 billion manoeuvred into Attahiru Bafarawa's account when he (Bafarawa) is neither a military consultant nor a legitimate arms dealer if truly Bafarwas got such money. Were they using the boko haram menace as "business"?

Justice Not Drama...
It is a very big shame that funds in the tune of N640 billion that was meant for our soldiers and security agents to secure the federation especially the North-East was siphoned by those in position of trust and their allies. The effect of their theft resulted in loss of gallant officers, civilians and properties. It has made some people orphan, some widows, some physically and psychologically disabled, while some lost their homes and means of livelihood. All those fingered in this fraud from Sambo Dasuki, Attahiru Bafarawa and his son, Raymond Dokpesi, the Generals and those yet to be arrested must be made to face the full wrath of the law whether they are fulani, yoruba, ijaw, Igbo, Ibibio, nupe, Kowa, PDP or APC. Justice must be served! Every goat that fed fat on the yams meant for the security of the country shall know no peace

I am ending this piece by expressing 'great' disappointment in Dr Goodluck Jonathan for allowing this monumental fraud to go unchecked under his watch. I don't want to believe that GEJ benefited financially from the whole arrangement for now. I am patiently waiting for the investigators' report. Only God knows how many more fraud were perpetrated by officials of the former administration and their allies across party and tribal line.
