That is the nature of stock markets worldwide, it is never stable, always going up and down....it's called bull and hear, you illiterate. Show me a stock market in the world that never swings up and down....Investors are moving from USA Dow Jones stock market to more favorable markets in Europe and Asia. List the names of the companies that have left Nigeria because of MTN.....while the same MTN itself refuses to leave Nigeria ....LOL !!!! Has Shoprite left Nigeria? LOL...show us a names list of those who left.....the criminal investors/law breakers who have something to hide and have run away from the new display of the power of Nigerian law enforcement..... Give us their names list !!!! . |

agaugust:Well, I cant claim GFP is right or that there calculations are 100% accurate, but I think its more scientific than people just coming up with names of countries just depending on which country has more online presence of military H/W. I think when GFP makes calculate this data, they assume that if these countries were to go to war with no help from outside whatsoever (something wich isnt practical), So while UG may have aerial superiority Niger produces oil... So in this respect, Niger will be more self sustainable if there were arms embergo and sactions while these countries were fighting........ But who am I kidding, Even I have a difficult time figuring how Niger made past Uganda, I mean Uganda could just bomb the hell out of all the oil rigs and bunker buster all the stored oil that would level the plainfield within a week |

DieVluit:NIGERIA becoming the 22nd biggest economy in the world is a headliner. Google it away and stop being a grumbling kid. You didn't answer the question pertaining why south African firms are still struggling to remain in Nigeria . If the economic climate is thus bad I want to see your firms heading home. But they are willing to pay 3.6 billion dollars as fine to remain in Africa's largest market and biggest economy. This makes rubbish of your claims. The Nigerian Naira has never been a strong currency for decades. And I wonder why Japan still has a not so good currency too. But they are the 4th largest economy on earth. It helps their export, as it does Chinese goods. We don't need stronger Naira to render you redundant economically. South Africa is a wrong investment for Africa. After dozens of African countries rallied to deliver you from the clutches of apartheid, all there is to show for it is a failed economy, decaying of public infrastructure, vain competition and Xenophobia. South Africa is an investment of no returns ![]() |

The world Bank says you are lying and says 85% of South Africans have access to electricity. http://data.worldbank.org/indicator/EG.ELC.ACCS.ZS Naija struggles to produce a mere 3000MW of electricity. |

Henry240:South Africa Kenya Nigeria Ghana And many others. All of us we developed through FDI, from computers we use (Microsoft), Cellphones, Cars, Cosmetics, Hair products, Breweries, Beverages, and many more. These people have built infrastructure, skyscrapers you see in big cities as offices they work in. They built plants/factories and hire staff to produce products, etc. |

mzilakazi:So because they employ people, they should be treated like demigods, its a taboo for NCC to fine them, it's an abomination for MTN to be sanctioned. I guess in your country that's how you treat foreign companies. How is that fine meaningless? There are rules governing them which they're supposed to obey and they have been violating them since time immemorial. They must pay it. |
