I loaded 1k and dialed the code i got a massage that they will reply me via text. More than 2hrs no text. Pls. What are codes for data balance? I tried *228# no way.

Hmmm... Good move from Etisalat.

Now I can join wifey to enjoy what she has been enjoying. Her sim allows 1gb for 1k while mine isn't eligible. Now I will see if mine will work.

Meanwhile, I'm enjoying Airtel time based subscription. I was able to download files of over 2gb with #200 last night.

Pls whats the code for the Airtel time base?

did you try using this code *229*2*7#. I wan't eligible before so i tried this code without airtime and received a message that i have insufficient balance. That was when knew i am now eligible and then i recharged and subscribed this evening

How fast is the network ? I used to use Glo BlackBerry plan on bb10 sometime last year, at a time the connection was too messed up that I don't consider them for data at all.
is it okay now ?

Just dial the code, you will be given options to choose from. Basically you are charged 15naira for every 5mins.

You will see options like:

5mins for 15naira
10mins for 30naira
30mins for 90naira
60mins for 180naira

So you choose which ever you want.

Funny i just ported frm glo 4.5gb for 2,5k last week to etisalat 2gb for 2k. Glo gives u data u cant use, while etisalat.. Their speed na d same with '4g' networks masef. No going back!!!

Count urself lucky! When I was in Lagos service was poor in uni lag and luth where there are heavy users.. Now im back to abuja & their service is still wack.. I know their networks are usually good in villages and out of town. I gave dem a chance for being indigenous but now I'm done!
