Every interns in my company got exit mail except me. Should I go with them. Please someone help. Me ask tomorrow during training. Thanks.

Calabar report: Good evening fellow Interns, we were so blessed to have the Director of Operations, GIS and he told us dat he can't guarantee dat d program may continue beyond 2015 but if it is captured in d 2016 budget, then we are good to go. Also d somehow good news is, we will get our Oct, Nov n Dec stipends n d training stipend too so dat in case d program terminates, they won't b any problem. He also said dat he is sure dat alert will enter before 24th of December, 2015

Yup@lady Chacha...d training is in batches...but u can still join them for the training if you sensed any error from their broadcast

You dont need to go if u ddnt rciv der invitation msg coz names, firms, acct nos of the invitees r wit dem n dey gonna check dt upon arrival b4 giving out training kits.

You need not go.. I had a similar issue. All my colleagues were invited expect me, went to the venue my name was not on the list and the sure p officials could not explain why. I sent name a msg on fb and the gave no reason the only told I was not invited and they will attend only to those that got the invite

That is true,from my conversation with the lady frm Abj,GIS may continue beyond 2015 because many steps has taken place to ensure it continuity e.g removing SUREP logo from GIS,preparing GIS budget for 2016 for approval, consistent meetings between finance perm sec and the present Govt on GIS issue which she believe is fruitful,and the youth emplyment agenda of Bua... So when the budget is approved which is likely,then GIS is good to go.On the issue of late payment of stipend she blamed it on TSA,but she said they are aware of it and that steps are currently being taking to solving the problem.

on continuity i agree with, cos they are still verifying and approving more firms. on late payment, they should have opened up and inform us that they do not have data of whom to pay because of their suspended site, hence the delay.

Am an intern from Anambra, under ministry of education, teaching in a school, I got the invite for training from monday in Enugu, but I got the text late yesterday to take permission from the principal. What do I do?

Please ask the officials for us that has exited the Programme but still have backlog. Do we still have hope getting the Stipend or no hope for us? Please i need a reply from u guys. Thanks

What happens to those of us living outside the state capital and don't have a place to put up for the 3 days training ?

If you reside within the local government/Capital where the training is being held, you're entitled to 15k but anything outside, it's 25k. The 10k difference is to augment for the accommodation and transport for interns coming outside the area of training.. Enjoy your training

I think you should go ahead for the training, however, make sure you call or text to your school informing them c'est fini gaskia

She has to go. One of my colleague that did not get any invitation or text followed us and was able to write her name w ith pen even after her name was not on the printed list. She later go alert on that too. So chacha carry go and be smart to be included even if ur name is not there.
