How much is mtn currently charge in mtn zone tariff plan? I migrated out of zone when they started charging minimum 12k per second. Who is using mtn zone and how much is the minimum tariff rate now?

it's still the same. some areas get as low as 8k/sec

That is not true. MTN has money to pay,they are just being nastily.

I know they have the money
But people have been complaining about unnecessary deduction from their balance, something that doesn't happen before.

Well I would advise them to report to NCC by calling 622.( Operation hours are from 8a.m to 8p.m Mondays to Saturday). If not satisfied, they are switch to another service provider by visiting their care centre with their valid I'd cards.
But the rate on MTN zone is dynamic and so it is their system that determines the rates. MTN might make their cash from Value Added Service not neccessary from voice calls. E.g pop sms asking you to click save. Immediately you click save, then will automatically subscribe to their service with your consent. I wouldn't blame to a large extend because the pressure is really on them to meet up mind you GLO has started same thing we asked MTN of.
