‎Too many hidden posts, why?

I read comments earlier that deserve to be left as is.

Is someone being too eager to please someone/a set of folks?

Meanwhile, I read the transcript of the 2012 video.

If you call Biafra, Biafra because Nnamdi Kanu called for arms and munition as he did in that world Igbo Congress video, then I just might be on the same page with you, but for the reasons given in that OP? Naaa.

I used a software to extract the texts from the screenshot posted and here's what I think the following statements imply.
‎
[/b]‎

Except Jack Obinyan, the facebook poster is high on cheap Osogbo weed, I'd like to know how calling for the head of terrorists and PRESSURING the Nigerian government to do something amounts to being a GEJ supporter.‎
‎

Now, THIS, is where I have my issues with NK's MO.
If violence was something to be abhored then, why adopt it now by requesting for guns?‎ (at the WIC for example).

Perhaps, is it because he feels that peaceful protests and dialogue does not cut it with the Nigerian government, and that his people are being slaughtered daily and as such, they need the arms to protect themselves...and probably go to war, if need be? - maybe?

Could it be that there was a serious paradigm shift in his beliefs between 2012 and Now (3 years down the line) hence the change in parlance from "NIGERIA to ZOO"?‎

Isn't this radicalisation? Is there more to this than meets the eye?

As a pacifist, I believe that while war may seem like an option to many, it is not the only way, ‎it is certainly not the best approach.

‎
‎

Please look at the 1st emboldened ‎again, that is not the way a person addresses a government they supposedly support. There were subtle threats contained therein. The text I ensizened is a testifier to the fact that NK and his crew have always had the IPOB vision in mind. However, they decided to tow the path of civility first...more like sounding a note of warning.

I guess he disowned Nigeria when he saw that there was no way the Igbos would be favoured under such arrangement.

Things are getting really heated up under Buhari because, there is this general feeling of discord Most Igbos have about Buhari. I don't think it would have been this bad if another northener had contested. There's this feeling that things would grow from bad to worse for under his regime for the Igbos (the feelers are there already, ask Ibeto group). I wouldn't know exactly what led to it, but from what I observed in the last elections Igbos generally‎ would rather have a "failed" Jonathan than a "glorified" Buhari. It was more like choosing between the devil and the deep sea. (My personal observation please).
‎
From the submissions above, I think it's in order to quip that the protest which Nnamdi Kanu (NK for the purpose of this submission) headed at the time had little or nothing to do with being a GEJ supporter.

1. Does speaking against acts of terrorism against your people make you a supporter of a particular government?

2. This thread lends further credence to Nnamdi Kanu's cause (If actually sincere in purpose) because it is etched in history that he gave the Nigerian State a chance.

3. He mentioned "disintegration" in his speech,‎ it shows that even at the time of Jonathan, he was nursing the IPOB dream, but was willing to exhaust options first, before going radical....we can attest to how easterners and southerners, even Northerners have suffered in the hands of BH.

This contents of this thread and it's caption doesn't quite fit.
If anyone wishes to call Biafra, Biafra...by all means, please do. It's largely your prerogative.

But for the pictorial reasons given in the OP?‎
They are watery.‎

More succinctly put, the word "Baseless" captures it best.

Thank You.‎

Just out of curiosity, why have my yoruba people taken Biafra matter as if it involves Oduduwa?

Igbos have a mind of their own you know? U cannot tell them how to think, what to feel or wat they want or wat to do.

Let us respect their personal space, opinion and aspiration.

My yoruba people should go and find their own story, Biafra is an igbo story.
biafra is a failure already

Good luck sha.....I just posted my opinion. Thank God I didn't throw insults, some truths are always hidden cuz the powers that be refuse to acknowledge them.

biafra has failed already? i cry out in pain for my generation.
nnamdi kanu is not the reason why i support the biafra agitation, if not for some setbacks, i would have started the struggle single-handedly.
there are so many reasons to not support the agitation and there are also so many reasons why i should support the agitation.
i am already bleeding from the shock.
if you are not supporting the agitation because of nnamdi's failures go ahead cause i know you have a valid reason for that, but let me tell you biafra agitation is greater than nnamdi kanu.
thank you.

Meanwhile,my own take on the matter is quite simple...

Do the Igbos have a right to seek secession? Perhaps.

But...

Even though I'm Igbo,I know that this will not work.
You see,I'm what the Igbos call 'Delta Igbo'.
They say we are not 'Real' Igbo. So we keep quiet while we are marginalized even among our own people.

So imagine the irony when these so called IPOB come to us and ask us to join in the struggle... What struggle, pray tell? So that after you have acheived your selfish aim,you would then marginalize us again?

Once bitten is twice shy... I shall recline to the quiet from whence I came, while I laugh in Delta Igbo.....
if you are not delta igbo of okoji iwela, pat utomi, elumelu, governor ifeanyi okowa, Odogwu etc forget about been igbo delta. This men are true proud igbo men.You are a bini man or Sheik hausawa as you name is. We know our selves. Go and find your tribe.

Nnamdi Kanu used Nigerian platform to deliver an important message to Nigerian government to sit up against terrorism.
He has been an active member of Biafra Actualisation Forum(BAF)which was an affiliate of MASSOB in Europe and America since 2003 so anyone that says he was pro one Nigeria until GEJ lost election is deceiving himself.

are you saying it was wrong for people to vote buhari .so voting Jonathan means inclusion while voting buhari means exclusion.what I guess from all this is simply .KANU was making money with Jonathan in power.since he his gone he his only looking for an avenue to be relevant.I bet he partook of the over $22mil spent for electioneering alone in the UK by PDP.why is it that all IPOB members are PDP.I need to know.cause all IPOB I have come across.in this last election voted PDP.and many are pdp card carrying member.
so all those northerners that are sympathetic to bokoharam example sultan of sokoto and others who voted for APC are bokoharam and am yet to see any that is not an APC card carrier
Re: Nnamdi Kanu Then vs Now: Why I Think The Term 'Biafra' Is Apt by safarigirl(f): 6:12am On Dec 09, 2015
nobody will be called to order, this is just another avenue to insult Igbo people in the pretense of calling for one Nigeria.

It's funny how 90% of people who say Nigeria is one have done nothing but insult the entire Igbo race repeatedly, mock them and jeer at them since Nnamdi Kanu's struggle started. Even someone who was previously indifferent could become sympathetic to his cause just by seeing the hate on this site. Catalonia has been seeking independence from Spain for years, but Spanish citizens don't resort to internet bullying and posting half truths and twisted lies to ensure they don't leave.

Nigeria and Spain are good examples of how vapid the black man's brain is compared to his white counterpart. No thinking faculty, just straight up caveman tactics.

The funny thing is, when you advice mods to stop promoting threads like this, they just hide your comment and ban you as if your absence will stop the brewing hate.

Oga, just ignore the topic like any smart person will, it lacks the needed bite to constitute a valid argument, just another beer parlour gist

@ ishilove, I've been following your post about Biafra and I think its high time you hush your mouth since you are seeing things from a sentimental angle.
Biafra is not Biafra and I take exception to the mockery you make of a nation that your kinsmen and relatives were part of the casualties of it.

@topic. NNAMDI KANU didn't do wrong protesting against the killings of people by BH. He was fighting for the oppressed which he is still doing today. As long as there is * change* then we as humans can adapt to changing situations.there was a time this same Yoruba leaders in APC threatened secession during abacha regime cos of the way.they were being treated.( apologies to the tribal lords) we all can change with times.
This one was part of the GEJ till 2019 crew that turned Biafra. Losers.

now I know that nnamdi kanu is very smart! imagine charging him of terrorism with the video where he called for arms, he would bring forth this video where he called for peace in nigeria in 2012, the court will just throw the case into bin, because he would claim that he is calling for arm to defend his people against the bokoharam, because the current government isn't doing anything about it.....

Igbos don't say you are not Igbo: hypocrites amongst you say they are not Igbo; when you ask someone which tribe he/she is from and you hear "Delta", you'd know that it's a Delta Igbo. An Urhobo man would say "Urhobo...ditto for an Isoko man!

This matter is beyond PDP and APC, we need to grow brains in this country. Nigeria is not in the agenda of the globalists, Nigeria must be broken!

God Himself created this country, Nigeria will not break, Nigeria will survive, all the subterfuge, all the shenanigans, the attempts to use our cultural peculiarities to emphasize our difference in order to incite the hatred that will lead to our division, all of them will fail.

God is watching.
