VANGUARD, N39.88
billion has been
budgeted for oil
exploration in the
northern part of
Nigeria in the 2016
fiscal year. The yearly
budget of the National
Assembly has been
slashed from the sum
of N120 billion
contained in the 2015
budget to N115 billion
in the 2016 fiscal year.
The allocation for
Presidential Amnesty
Programme has also
been reduced from
N47.39 billion to N20
billion.
