Entrepreneurs sometimes do not come up with earth shaking ideas. Indians are taking our Okada model and turning it into the next big thing for solving their transportation problems.

Why am I interested in this? Several years back I discussed a similar idea with some guys but we never did anything. Have we done something like this in Nigeria? No. Do we need it yes! Anyone interested in learning more?

Nothing beyond our own Okada system, only that this time, it is more formalised and organised. You make arrangements with Baxi (the company) to have a smart, decent, educated rider pick you and get you where you are going safe and on time. Baxi owns those bikes and runs the service.

Nice concept. It's time to think out of the box in Nigeria....

Simply by planning and organization. I wish I could lay my hands on my previous 'napkin' business plan on this but its been several years ago. But it is very possible especially for someone with good managerial abilities.

But do you think this can work here in Lagos? With the restriction on okada movement. I believe it is still viable but the location is key.

I have 15 domains now,
my parking account at bodis has been blocked.
i dont even know they way forward. all i just did was to list all of them with undeveloped
Please i will like u to take a look at this pix and check if i have priced them rightly
Check the way i listed them.
please advice me ion how i can move on from here.

Anything can be made to work, anywhere. It is how it is modeled that matters. I am already seeing how this may be made to work even with the restrictions.

You posted this in the wrong thread. I wish you could post it on the domaining thread so you can have a better response. Am sure quite a lot of people (including myself) will help (mentor) you and others too will learn.

Good to hear that @Freaknasty. My main problem now is time. I have kickstarted a number of things that requires time. Am lucky I had a few weeks to myself only, that's why I could even manage a bit.

Secondly, the success of this venture is going to be based on systems and logistics. It may look like its all Okada but behind that is just the simple part. Are you sure you will like to try it?

I've been following this thread silently. I'm already into transportation so I understand that need for processes and logistics.
