Let d government n companies sack as much as de can sack.

Sheybi wen it happened to immigration de said it was pdp's men, same tin de said to nnpc, refinery, custom, dss, mtn, banks, airtel, lacasera, civil service n so on n so forth, now it has gotten to ur doorstep n u ar lookin for hu will fight for u? My friend wat goes around cums around. Mine happened in July afta 5months witout pay. I am strongly in d street hustling.

Welcome to d job market oando staff

I find it heart-warming that those who voted for change are

1. Queuing up in the gas stations and buying fuel for N150 to N300
2. Are losing their jobs
3. Are buying merchandise at between 30% to 70% more than they did before the election

Karma is a darling. YOU ALWAYS REAP WHAT YOU SOW

In this new year 2016, alot of people will lose their job, because of improved technology. Learn how to leverage the power of the internet and technology to Make Money Online. That a surefire way for people in this 21st century.

I'm not surprised.

They posted a very huge loss in the Annual Report last year, probably the highest loss in a very long time. Apparently they're cutting costs everywhere they can.

My regards to all affected.

All hope is not lost yet. APC promised job creation for millions of Nigerian including people in your category. I hope they will not turn their brooms used during election into a Created Job since we have a lot of streets in APC controlled states. If that happens in the other way round, I believe the affected staff will be able to pick the job and adapt

Let the sacked workers use the money they have made or the payoff they received to start their own business and employ the unemployed. SMe is the way forward for our economy..

Truth most be told where are we going in this country? It so pathetic that Nigeria is going through silling process I mean from one stupid gorvernment to another and yet some fools are delebrating to fine any one who voice out their pains. I just don't no oooo but sometimes I feel the world should end quickly starting from Nigeria because we the majority are just living by the grace of God . Lastly please Mr Buhari do something for our economy it is affecting the youth who we see as the leader of tomorrow .

How etake concern me? You were working, earning well, acquiring properties. everything was going on well. You said you need change. You voted out a scholar and voted in a farmer without certificate. Now you are going to loose your job and where will you see another? Enjoy your change and accepted my condolences.

We would like you to come to our aid and intervene in the situation in a spirit of solidarity. What we demand in addition to addressing the highlighted issues are:

OER to render an unreserved apology to affected staff for treating them with indignity;
That the severance package be reviewed to an amount obtainable in companies that have retrenched staff recently especially where the staff are unionized. At least four years’ gross pay would be acceptable;
OER to agree in writing that, should oil price return to at least $50/bbl, the affected staff who are still available would be reinstated since performance was not the basis for the pruning down exercise;
OER to maintain benefits due to staff throughout their search for another job;
OER to promise in writing not to victimise staff once the business fortunes reverse and staff are to be reabsorbed;
PENGASSAN to mandate OER to establish Union in the organization;
Most of these demands are not realistic especially for a company like Oando. They have not done this exercise the proper way but you cannot ask them to retain your services when they do not have the means to support it. Would you rather work for free? Because if they start owing you salaries now you will be the first to complain. But the compensation should be higher. They could have also given the staff an option of pay cut.
