Academic qualification gives some sort of future financial security. Doesn't mean it automatically makes one rich.

Been a graduate doesn't guarantee u wil be successful in ur field of profession,it just post a difference btw u and those who are less educated, what matter most is how u make use of dat knowledge many don't av and present it in a unique way to the benefit of others.moreover most world successful people are less educated or school drop outs bill gates, abraham lincoln, benjamin franklin, craig mcraw, henry ford etc

Not at all.
In fact if my child ever decides after sec school that he/she no longer wants to go to school for valid reasons, I'd support such child to follow whatever valid line heshe wants to pursue. But under the condition that it must be a failure.
gettin a certificate is hyped in nigeria, we have so many graduates brilliant writhe pen but totally helpless when it comes to the practical aspect.
What's d essence of getting a first class in bus admin when an illiterate can even manage such business better than u?

Excellence has different yardsticks. A certificate is a paper-evidence of what you have been thought. Theory is different from practical/experience. This topic has been recycled in different manners.

Make the best use of your talent for +ve impact(s).

...going to school is not an end itself but one of the numerous means of achieving an end. Am an Nd holder in business admin. but as a typing I don't even know where I keep my certificate. For like 3 years I have not set my eyes on d certificate but I live a better life than most master degree holders. I will not stop advising people to acquire skill after schooling. Believe me as at two years ago I was no body. Another thing I want to add is have faith in God by trying your best to keep his commandment and from there u will gain a wisdom that will help u to succeed. I MUST TESTIFY HIS GOODNESS. U can check my posts to see what I do for a living. It is a hard work but a making a good life out of it .
