I wish my husband knows how to cook though he is trying but cooking is not just his thing.

The Op is very correct. Only dose ladies married to a perfect cook will understand. Don't forget that knowing how to cook is an added advantage for lady, but u lost that advantage if ur hubby is equally a good cook.

Try new recipe. Think outside the box. Unlike what the op said, there's something new under the sun when it comes to recipe, even professional chefs haven't tasted it all. I'm a very good cook but trust me, I can't cook all food.

no point at all. I tried so had to find one but couldn't see.all I smell here is complain and envy. I can see you're the type of lady that cannot appreciate your husband coocking skills or any man who knows how to cook. 1. When you are sick he can cook.
2. When you are tired, he can cook.
3. You can cook together... bonding.

This page should have been titled "disadvantages of marrying a man that can cook better than you" because marrying a man that can cook, maybe not as good as his wife should have no disadvantage.

My husband cant cook excpt indomie even when am down he ll buy food for d family.
But can pick out errors,like d salt is nt enof,d pepper is too much,anyways i ve tried to stop him now or he ll be cooking his food to avoid complain.

One of my family friends who is a Prof wld always cook when his wife travels for him and the children. He wld go to market wt them and stock up many ingredients. The children preffered his cooking cos while the woman will be trying to economize and only get necessary food stuffs, the man will add as many spice ups like diced meat, fish, etc as possible.
About a man that can't cook not pointing out errors, no go think am o. They are mostly guys that eat out and every guy wld want gud food. Not picking out the wife's mistakes depends more on the man's personality, some pple can complain for Africa even though they can't boil water.

Nice write up but I must disagree with you on most of your points. only an insensitive man will do most of the things u wrote....a loving and caring man will find a subtle way to correct any errors in his wife/girlfriend's cooking because there is always room for improvement, besides when it comes to cooking no one is perfect we all make mistakes sometimes. As for the "nothing under the sun part" not even the best chef in the world has seen it all, what the woman need to do is think outside the box sometimes and come up with something unexpected.
I will take a man that knows how to cook over the one that doesn't anytime anyday.
