MISSCONGENIALITY:
this is just the simple truth but somepoeple will think acquiring a skill is waste of time and stooping low. Peopel should see school as a place for acquiring knowledge and not a place to get certificates. Once u have gotten the knowledge, u can do what u want without a certifate. Because nigerians suffer to get admission, and when u are in school some people who whould be ur mentors would instaed frustrate u and when u finally graduate if they free u, u will suffer to get a job and when u finally get, u might also be frustrated by ur boss and then I start to wonder if there's any need wasting money going to school?
you said it all ma'am, the situations In this country makes education look worthless.. I started my business when I was in my final year, I'm still regretting I never started earlier.. we all can't be in the white collar job.. the earlier we realised this, the better for us all.

That's what we need, instead of staying at home lamenting that about not getting a job after school.

My cousin had average score 286, JAMB score 262, PUTME score 310 yet couldn't secure admission for Med. Surg. After, she bought supplementary form #10,500 for another course, yet couldn't secure admission. Meanwhile those that their list came out had a lower average scores, in fact she scored above all them

Guys, is there anything I can do to protest against this act on her behalf and secure justice?

op what are her subject combo? D subjects she did in jamb
Re: Admission Injustice By ABSU (picture ) by ril19(m): 6:06pm On Dec 12, 2015
OP med surg is strickly reserved for the politicians and commissioners in abia unless you can pay really huge sum to claim a slot. so unfortunately that's how the system now operates.

The only reason could be if your cousin in not from Asia state but that reason is not solid considering what your cousin scored. That score would even secure an admission in some premier universities.
Are you by any means related to the guy that created Western Germany undecided huh

Please what line of biz did you take? I hope you won't mind disclosing it. My kids can make clothes at age 12 & 14 while my 9yr old is no longer frightened on stage as a violinist. That won't stop them from their dream careers. My niece combines her SIWES with training in hair dressing. Am a career woman but we can't be too sure about the future. Am not a pessimist but learning a skill is worth and is satisfying.

Later they will tell us that we Igbos love ourselves; that all what we need is biafra and all our problems are over. Ngwa nezienu, a full blooded, intelligent Igbo girl is denied admission in an Igbo land, probably because she's not from Abia State. This same Abia State sacked civil servants that are not indigines of the State. Later we scream Biafra when an Anambra guy will have to fight his family/relatives just to get married to his Imo girlfriend, and many more innumerable discriminations within us. We just have to first love ourselves and crave for good governance within our region before we start talking about our own country. Ten Q
