I hope those who thought it was Patrick Ubah's own Capital Oil and then concluded that it was a deliberate Northern attack against Ndigbo businesses, can now come out with shame to apologize?

Even when Folawiyo and Sahara owned by Tonye Cole were also included in the report, some just had to make the story about their irritating tribal victim complex.

See the clansmen below from the other thread. Ever ready to make any action by government an anti-igbo agenda.

One even tried to pretend that the other companies indicted (Sahara and Folawiyo) were non-entities.

Then somebody with a working brain had this to reply them.

Only God can heal the Igbo mindset.

No...they were targeting Igbos. They just added small players Sahara and Folawiyo as a way to fool us. Had I seen names like Forte and MRS, then I know it's not tribally/ethnically instigated. Do you know Capital oil is the largest indepedent distributor of refined petroleum products in Nigeria and has the largest storage depot in Nigeria?

Bro, so you mean even with the story conveyed in this thread that it wasnt Ifeanyi Ubah's Capital O&G, you still insist on making this sort of ridiculous comment?

For crying out loud, what kind of psychological affliction are some of my Igbo brothers suffering from? undecided

Exactly how it starts. Capital oil should be very vigilant, as the next plan will be to burn it down. This is what the yorubas are known for, and according to the leaked APC plan. they have promised to burn down business owned by Igbos

When the false news broke yesterday, how many people expressed worry over it? Even on this forum a good majority were jubilant. There is really a huge conspiracy again Ubah and I hope the management team should watch it more closely. As for Nigerians, I don't wish us to experience wat the fuel situation will be like if Capital Oil & gas is so suspended.

What d'you expect? They'd have shouted ethnic cleansing and massacre by a Fulani moslem and threatening dragging to ICC assuming the shiitttte moslems that attempted assassinating the COAS were IPODs (Irritant People of Beyafrah). Now that it was a moslem in power when the zaria conflict with the army occurred, dem "throway" face.

It better that theirs is limited to ethnic militancy and not included religious extremism in their dossier else they could have been decimated long ago for being religious terrorists.

I believe the piece by omoelesa
omoelesa: : Buhari is a tribalist, he probaly wants to kill capital oil own by an ibo man. This is victimazation and marginalization.
has the sarcasm to it. He only tried to mimic the next barrage of comments and boy, was he soooo right.

Lol, u will not see the posts attacking igbos, will u change the rule again to have ur way the way u did on biafra issue, so that u can attack freeely while igbos are banned for defending themselves?? yeye
That omoelesa u quoted is not an igbo man, he was the first pesn to bring igbos into the issue with his sarcasm which most of u failed to grab including aperture11 that quoted him. U should apologize here for taking a yoruba sarcastic bashing on igbos as igbo mindset, u are the one without a working brain here, both u and the aperture11 guy u want to use as an example of peson with working brain are all brain dead for failing to see the first sarcastic attack on igbos and taking it literally

And you think that if Omoelesa had not said that, the real IPODs wouldn't have gone ahead to do what they do best in that thread, huh? Please save us all the excuse. Every sane Nigerians (Igbos inclusive, mind you) all know your mindset and the fact that y'all will always have one excuse or the other to play the victim.

What Ugo?! Did you read the topic of this thread, heh?! Your vituperation and persecutory delusion has taken the better part of you that you don't even know that you're no longer on that thread.

And I'm dead sure that of MRS and Forte had been included along with your imaginary "capital oil", you'd had remixed the same wails as "they just included those two Hausas, but the Igbo business is the main target".

Oh c'mon, get some comprehension already!

Please will you just shut up and stop these lies? The fact that others don't engage in noise making and chest beating doesn't give you the right to lie here.
As a matter of known fact Folawiyo on creek road alone have more business volume in pms and AGO than capital oil.
Remove NNPC patronage ( NNPC uses the facility ) and you can truly know how small capital oil is in the business. His ibafon jetty is not even big as that of intergrated or Sahara.
He relies solely on NNPC patronage of his depot facilities.
Next time, lie with some respect.

The attention of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited, has been drawn to the erroneous publication in today's New Telegraph newspapers and picked by the social media to the effect that Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited, owned by top businessman, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah was suspended by the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and also ordered to pay N10 million fine for allegedly selling Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise called petrol, above the official ex-depot price of N77.66 per liter. Nothing could be further from the truth.

This is because the company that was affected is Capital Oil Petroleum Limited, not Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited. And the two companies have no affiliation whatsoever. It is a pity that Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited, which is the leading champion of dispensing petroleum products at the approved prices, could be dragged into this report, even when the two companies are not the same, nor share common facility anywhere.

When a news break, it is expected that journalists should not rush into reporting issues of this nature without, especially sensitive issues at a time when the nation is facing stiff difficulties. One had expected that any sensible journalist should first cross-check information brought to the newsroom before rushing to press with such high falutin but false information.

This simple task would have cleared all doubts on this issue. The rule of journalism still remains: When in doubt, leave out. Or you simply cross-check, which is just a telephone call away.

We implore those the authors and sponsors of this false information to please retract and correct the false impression created for the benefit of all right thinking Nigerians who have obviously been misled into believing the lie that Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited, may have been involved in any malfeasance.

Signed
