Ok,I get you're trying to be original. I too can do that atimes but I just come to realise using visual references keep the art in one's mind's eye to draw many times later on without looking at anything. Like this example of someone's home studio wall posters surrounding the artist for inspiration from comics to architecture etc.

Funny enough @derrick, I don't use reference for my drawings. I love coming up with drawings based on what concept I am able to imagine at a particular point in time. I don't use pictures to draw. @polarbite, I don't understand what you mean by "badboy". What I do?
On a serious note tho, is there a way polarbite can modify the tittle of this thread so other comic/ creativity enthusiasts can come in and contribute. It has only been u, me and Derrick.

Lol..i typed hmm because I don't know how well you respond to constructive criticism. anyways,...Pls use another color pattern when coloring the next sketch...the one you used here makes Logan appear like a golden statue. Good work..we are getting there.

Yeah..wolverine wears mask..but what Derrick drew is the man behind the mask. Logan is the name.

Dude,I studied #architecture remember & most of my juries weren't constructive from the lecturers within the 7years I spent. So me taking constructive feedback that's not a problem ever because even I am not even satisfied with it. I like the strange effect it gave though because it mimics a friend's painting style. Lol,dude,from the X-Men comics in my archives to the film & animated series I've all watched over the years. Logan isn't always in this costume with his mask. Sometimes he's in a vest wearing jeans & his cowboy boots if he doesn't want his cowboy hat+jacket on also.
