I'm inclined to think it's coz of women's innate and habitual urge for comfort and the inane believe that having a car connote affluence. However, some other thing in me is telling me it's coz of the persisting hardship and poor economic welfare that's responsible for such behaviour.

In most advanced nations, having a car doesn't make people assume one to be wealthy as it cost nothing. So, the need to impress or attract ladies attention coz you own one doesn't come to play.

Agreed, some ladies might still feel impressed, especially when the car is a flashy one, with mobility here but they don't make it that obvious like their Nigerian counterparts who doesn't shield their love for toys and materialism.

The worst part is if you are with car, you can sleep with them for transport money but if trekking, you have to prove yourself by spending first, talking a lot and wearing nice clothes. No of these matters when you are behind a wheel

Tell them, owning a car in Nigeria is regarded as a huge achievement. Ppl forget that a well furnished 4 bedroom flat cost way more than a range Rover sports

if a guy rents and furnishes a 3bedroom apartment,i fail to believe he spends more money than one who just bought a RR sports really...unless the said house is on the island or something!
