Worked with a big MNC that shipped FMCG and I loved the experience. Go for NBC. The experience will be vast.

When you. wanna earn a living by working with monetary targets, go for Access, banks these days are just a bunch of devil's. mail bags, I would rather go for NBC than work for any bank in Nigeria, wouldn't wanna die young or live a fake life.

You need to be very specific about the jobs, what pay do you expect?
I was in your shoes 7 years ago, i was in a training school in finbank and got called up for Guinness. Of course, you know how the story went, FinBank is no more, and people are still getting drunk everywhere. Like someone rightly said, banks would sack next year, and people would drink to console themselves.


All the same, you would need to be more specific about the positions, pay and location of the job and what not before i can give any direct advice. I am open to chatting. Also i hope you have not signed the bond though, but i have a friend in access that is still there till now and doing very well.

Guy go NBC, it has more prospect and better working condition than Access Bank. Beside banking job is slavery.

These two companies operate in different industries; Banking and FMCG fast moving consumer goods.it is up to you to decide on which of the offer will fit into your career line.

The banking job comes with its pros such as prestige ,exposure,experiences and some lucrative allowances and not forgetting its cons like stress and late working hours.
I believe NBC has more flexibility than Access bank *I stand to be corrected.

In terms of job security,the banking job of recent has been unstable.Job security is at its lowest ebb as the industry is susceptible to changes in the economy,thus downsizing is a common phenomenon in periods of economic distress.However,the volatility is less in FCMG due to the nature of its goods.

Following the advices you might receive from folks,it all boils down to what you want.It is imperative to follow your heart.

My sincere advise, go for NBC. You will not regret it. The banks are going to lay off next year, massive downsizing. In NBC, you have job security than a bank. Even if d bank offer is high, my advise is forget d pay and go for somewhere you can be at peace. Besides NBC is a multinational. You can always leverage on it to move forward.

Depending on your field of studies, if u are an engr graduate and NBC offer is technical, go for NBC, otherwise stay where u are.

please I beg you in the name of your future to quit that training school and got NBC the pay might not be attracting in the begining but I assure you you will be better off for it. As for Access I once worked for them and I know what I am talking about. You will be used and dumped and in no time you might be back in labour market. Have you been told you are going to sign a bond? such that for the next two years you can not seek employment elsewhere, but they reserve the right to sack you! Bro you are too young to start badly please leave access now. A word is enough for the wise. Don't get enticed to mortgage your future. I am sure you will thank me for this advise one of these day.
