The new immigration law does not require applicant for critical skill to be employed and more importantly he does nt need to study to PhD level to qualify for critical skill permit .Hence with Hnd/Bsc an engineer is qualified for critical skill permit because engineers are needed in SA .All he need to do is registration with professional bodies in Nigeria and SA .and add other relevant documents .The critical skill permit is easier to get in Nigeria than SA.

Brother, education or teaching is not under critical skills. A friend here in SA applied for critical skills work visa and he was denied because he claimed that he is a teacher. You can go through the home affairs website you will see the list of the critical skills. I had HND in mechanical engineering and i am here in SA on critical skills visa. Guy you need some packaging for your qualifications, I mean because of The program ( Education).

All of these are sufficient documents for an application but no one here can tell whether or not you were given a visa or your application was rejected. It is rare to get your visa processed in 3 days but it happens; it happened to me in July when I picked my passport up the third day. Please go to VFS and get your passport and hopefully, it will be good news.

Saqa verification process can become cumbersome when there is no response from institution .I'm very sure they sent a mail but not to the registrar ,Possibly to examination officer/postgraduate officer .Ask them which dept/section the mail was sent to .Probably deputy registrar office received the mail .

Hi Heaven for me, what do u mean by P degree? What is your discipline? masters and PhD by research are on scholarship but its not easy to get admission. First step is get your transcripts and certificate Bsc or HND for evaluation by saqa.

Hi segzy201, check the email address on your transcripts and certificate very well maybe there is mistake.

The mail has been delivered to the deputy registrar and dean of postgraduate studies.Unfortunately most Nigerian schools don't reply to mails on time .

Only a wizard will know if the visa was approve or not ...hence go embassy for the visa /passport .
