I doubt this rumour, remember how rumour had it that Kanu has passed on after some days in detention. It's not totally impossible though, let us see how things unfold in the next few days. But my own view in this whole saga is that road blocking in the name of marching or protest is absolutely nonsense because it could determine some people's destiny in life and death situations. Think of a pregnant woman under labour, a patient at the point of death, an applicant who wants to get to interview centre, when you block roads and deny other users, you are nothing but a fool, and when you block road against a COAS, you are not better than a terrorist.

I hope and pray this is not true.

If soo then i think i must travel 4 this xmas whether i like it or not.

If true, then it is/was daft move by the military. During the APC presidential elections campaign, they made very bold promises to end the Book Haram issue almost immediately if voted into power. I recall Buhari's campaign early that as Head of State, he singlehandedly disbanded a sect that was rising at that time in the North. I cannot tell how relevant that was to what we are facing now.
Now it is crystal clear that twenty years down the line, Buhari has just stepped on the lion's tail waiting for a Southerner to become a president so they can launch a full scale war.
