So far, it has been established that many Nigerians were killed in Zaria by the Nigerian Army. From all indications, the Chief of Army Staff is in the known of the entire incidence. What is expected of any high respected General at this moment is to take a leave to ease the tension. I may be wrong on the working of the Military but such a move may help a lot to restoring the aggrieved confidence once again in the government towards any commission to look into the incidence. May God bless Nigeria.

Yes he should; whether guilty or not. He has lost public confidence in his ability to continue to provide security to the nation as required by his position.

The COAS did no wrong, abeg. I changed my view after watching that video. Those shiite deserved what they got with the way they harrassed the Army which is a strong institution in Nigeria. Its as bad as an attack on the president!

Resigning is an understatement, he should be investigated and be made to face the International court of Justice for genocide. My greatest anger is the continuous silence of the C-in-C Buhari on a critical matter like this that pertain to life, he never show any care to address it whatsoever, that is the worst level of insensitivity to a nation he was democratically elected to govern.

Resignation is has honour in it. The man should be sacked arrested, prosecuted and jailed. The man almost throw Nigeria into another years of Boko Haram debacle.

I am a PMB supporter but I'm against impunity and anything that threatens the peace and lives of Nigeria and her citizens.

How can you kill the very people you're supposed to be protecting. We should have a law that would criminalise killing of un armed Nigerian for whatever reason.

If any bastar.d block our highway that was built by tax payers money and that is for all of us, the COAS should shoot and re-shoot them.

Bunch of wankers. Why will some people believe they are above the law and they can hold the whole country into ransom?

If you want to protest or want to observe religious procession, respect the right of other users of the road you are blocking too. You cannot infringe on the right of others while exercising your own right.

Better still, protest or observe your religious procession in your house or an open field, where you won't be disturbing others.

Was he truly attacked? After the raid and free slaughter how many weapons did they claim they recovered? I remembered when Gej traveled to Gombe, and Jos during the later part of his government, they pelted stones and other projectiles at him and his convoy, did you hear his security details opened fire and kill people to safeguard the president? Nigeria military and police has to be civilize, they always get away with it because the government cover them up. My father is a senior army officer and will never give support to the actions of the military whatever the provocation from armless civilians may be. There are civilized ways of managing crisis even with the presence of a high caliber soldier like Buratai that should not lead to civilian casualties.

Does that warrant the mass killing? Guess you remember the numbers of times GEJ was even stoned but kept his cool? Why going to abode and religion centre to kill them? Why not using tear-gas or rubber bullets? What is wrong is wrong.

That is Jonathan and he is a man that takes rubbish from everybody and anybody. No wonder Dasuki turned to Santa Claus in his name and Dieziani looted the country to bankruptcy state under his nose.

This is Buratai and he does not condone lawlessness, indiscipline and a pseudo-militia group infringing on right of other users of our collective property.

See who is talking.

In the name of humanity, lawlessness and affront to constituted authority should be applauded?

If that is the way things are done in civilised countries, they would not have been different from ISIS nation. Can Iran even allow that?

Show me anywhere in the world where such madness will be condoned. Not even in US, Russia or China.

Bunch of barbaric and stone age jokers.

I am not justifying the killing of anyone.

My question remains why were they blocking the road meant for everybody? Is it El Zakyzaky's father's road?

Action begats a reaction.

If there was no road block by those brigands in the name of their so called religious procession, the COAS convey would have passed smoothly and we will not be here debating debating avoidable.

You can imagine what the terror those pseudo-militia group would would unleashed on ordinary Nigerian trying to pass that road on that day?

Over 1000 human beings massacred!!! PMB authorised the mission as commander in chief of the armed forces hence, should resign and hand himself over to amnesty international.

Truth be told, 1. if it where ordinary soldiers that did this their balls will since be hanging because they are nobody's children. 2. If the COAS is mobbed n killed alongside the soldiers Nigerians will insult the of incompetence.
3. Spewing trash is part of us we say all we want to suit our purpose.

Abacha once jail the sect leader for a reason n someone released base on political swagger, however the Ait, Channels n Tvc crew where present at the scene n if any media staff is killed by the sect as a result of this man no go sleep.

May God help us

When you are playing with tigers tail, you should always be careful. We are talking about military and not police. Police are meant to be our friend and not the military. Therefore, give them a pole distance.

See, with the video tape the Army can defend itself anywhere in the world that they observe the military protocol. Will they rather have the COAS killed like a chicken, than sacrifice the lives of s unruly religious bigots? Your guess is as good as mine and it is the end result we have all seen.

I hope next year when they are observing their religious procession again, they will dare not block our road again. They can't even do that in ISIS and Iran.

Justifying the killing of over 1,000 Nigerians will not do you good nor the Nigeria Army any good either. The countries you quoted will rather use tear gas or rubber bullet than not only killing those on ground but also going to their centre to kill more.

Buratai the chief of Army staff should be made to face ICC .Nothing short of that.
