Ok..can extend my Study Permit from Nigeria? ?
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by meagainstdem: 8:52pm On Dec 18, 2015
I mean

1 Saqa
2 proof of residence
3 yellow card
4 medical (Government hospital in Nigeria)
5 Medical Aid ( South Africa)
6 bank statement
7 Citified true copy of your certificate and transcripts
8 PhD admission letter. etc

@ no 7, do we need to submit certificate and transcript again at d embassy? To avoid another denial, can u pls explain how d credentials are arranged bcs I learnt there is an order in which it must be arranged. Also, I have two application forms with me and I don't know which one is authentic. One is BI-84(4 pages) while d other is BI-1784(13 pages) while non is having study visa on it. Please I just need to get it right by january 4 or else I forfeit d whole thing. The whole thing has taken a lot from me and I don't think it's as difficult as it seems except that there is a missing link somewhere.

Pls house, is SAQA part of documents needed for study study visa application in embassy
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by naruto02(m): 1:23am On Dec 19, 2015
Hello house, very soon I'd like to travel to sa for school (flying school to be precise). I read most of the requirements for the visa stuff but what I want to clarify is that the official bank statement, is it going to be your sponsors bank account or your sponsor has to transfer the money into your bank account. Secondly, are going to book a flight before or after the visa is been granted? Finally how long does it take to grant your visa application

Yes SAQA is the first thing they will ask for. They have to evaluate your qualifications to know the equivalent to South Africa qualification. Even in South Africa here as a foreigner u need saqa anytime u want to apply for job.

Brother don't confuse yourself here, use only your sponsor bank account. One account is okay. It's just flight reservation.

Take your transcripts and Bsc/ HND certificate to high court. I mean photocopy of transcripts and certificate. Then you will submit the stamped one with your application. Take all your documents to the embassy they will arrange it for you. The form is (DHA — 1738 ) Form 8 (Google it)

Hello House, a friend of mine was at the Home Affairs office to apply for study permit, he was cleared on Tuesday and was told to make payment on Wednesday and he submitted on Thursday without SAQA, (because his school never requested for SAQA in the first place) he's now quite afraid if his application won't be denied because of this. Please what's the house's view

Is Femiaction d only person on this forum? Why is he d only one responding to questions. Just as omidoyinJoshua pointed out, some schools like UCT has direct link wit saqa which they use in evaluating documents before admitting students. Therefore, they don't request for saqa as part of supporting docs for offering admission. Has anybody had this experience of not submitting saqa to d embassy and granted visa? Let d person share wit us pls.

Hey meanaingstdem try to read and understand post very well before making any comments. Is it a crime to response to a post? Then mind you I am here not for competitions. They were asking about SAQA for study permit. I just advice them that they will need saqa if you want to work in SA then Most university in Durban will need saqa certificate for admission. I was trained by people here in this forum before I got my critical skills work and my wife PhD study permit I did it by myself with help of God and good people in this forum like Samtol4, shine777 , yinksob002, sultan003 PYR8TE, CHEMASHIE and other. Then lastly its a forum what is your contribution? when you see fault in someone that is use his precious time to reply post here. It's free world my brother you can make post anything you know about SAQA, admission and permit here. Don't make reference to anybody. try to post what you know. Thanks

Hello, I live in SA, Johannesburg to be precise, there is really nothing to look forward to in SA anymore, the economy is on a downward slide, permits are harder to get now, education is getting worse, please don't stress yourself emphasis is on stress to come to SA. I must admit I am doing extremely well thanks to God, but for every of me there are 9 others not doing well. I got Permanent Residency, and it was just God cos for all of us that applied myself and my wife were the only ones approved. SA is not a place for people without sound education and forget SA if you are not in any of these fields Science, Technology, Engineering or Medicine (STEM). A lot of companies in SA want to come to naija, forget the $ price in naija now, but Naija is the next big thing in the world. Peace

Step 2
Make a clear copy of all the
original documents, previous UK,
US, Canada, Japan and Schengen
visas and three clear copies of
passport data page.
Question... must I have applied for visa in another country before or what does that step 2 mean from vfs website

@ femiaction, u absolutely got me wrong. I was throwing my mind open to everyone, not u in any way. That is why I don't like commenting on social media like this. About 2 or 3 of us posted in a row and u happened to be d only one responding to us. It's just like when a teacher is asking question in d class and only one student keeps answering. If d teacher asks why it's only a student answering his question, would it get d student angry? Rather to me, it's just a way of challenging other students to live up. That's all. So I don't think I deserve to be hammered that deep by u, neither do I want this dragged any further and ultimately derail d thread. Before I know it now, someone will come and bash me for accusing all of not responding to questions except u. That's humans we are!

Brother i am sorry , don't be angry with me. We are here to help each other in this forum. I posted what I know and experiences since I came to Republic about SAQA. I went for several interviews both government and private company. The first they asked was my SAQA and my Engineering council of South Africa certificate because they want to know my Qualifications equivalent to the SA Qualifications. Then secondly their government is making money from foreigners.

No problem, same here too. May God bless our hustle. But yet to get over d costly mistake I made about filling my visa application at d wrong place. My prayer is that by the time I re-apply in january it will meet up with my early february resumption. By the way, someone was even suggesting I go to Abuja bcs it's easy up there than lagos but takes longer(up to 6 wks). My fear in that is will it come out b4 resumption. I'm just confused!

Sir don't let anybody confuse you. I was a victim of this when I want to applied for my critical skills work permit. I went to Abuja 2 times without any successful outcome. Even one guy that come from Lagos for study permit, the lady told him to go back to Lagos and submit it there. I submitted my application in Lagos and they told me after 6 weeks, to my surprise after 4day they called me from the embassy and when i got there they asked me about my Engineering council of South Africa certificate because I submitted a letter confirming my registration. God really showed me favour on that morning my wife sent the tracking number of the certificate to me that the certificate was ready for collection at post office. 3 days later I got my work permit. Sir it was God's favour. By January go and submit your application in Lagos and God will show you favour. Lastly brother be prayerful.

Brodaly, ur response is most appreciated. I have another question- If I move a lump sum into the account I want to present for my permit won't it be a red flag? I have saved up the monies I would need for my studies but it is in my savings account and I plan to present my current account. I need to move the money into my current acct but a friend said that they might suspect the transaction being a lump sum.
