@OP. Hmmm,stuffs like this remind me of the passage of time.

I remember how,in d public primary school i attended, we (the Primary One class) read those particular lines after the teacher from the ALAWIYE textbook,just like yesterday!.

Some of my favourite stories from other Alawiye text books were Awòràwò, Àlàdé hu'wo, Okùnrin Ojo( Coward)...etc...I miss those days sha..

I cant remember this.

I didnt read that book, cos we didnt use it in my school. I came across the book frm my mates who went to the "P" school.

Mehn, old times I must say. As in őbő oba n hò idi, a o ba hø. There was one too, Iyabo series 1-5. Miss those days.

Just remembered Chike and the river, we used it in primary 4! when some kids on Nairaland were not yet born!
