I'm creating a small forum but I'm stock at the image uploading part

I've tried all the tuts and YouTube videos still no headway

I want users to attach at least two pictures (tho optional) just like Nairaland, alongside their comments and also a like unlike system for comment rating

please if you have a easily understandable resource pls share.

Uploading picture to database is rarely done.images are normally uploaded to a folder.it's done simply by
1) grabing the name of the picture and uploading the name of the picture.
2) simultaneously upload the picture into a folder.
Then when ever u want to display the pic u can do something like
<img src="image_folder/
pic_name_returned_from_the_db">
