If it were to be ofada rice most of u will praise d local rice. Ebonyi is far better than the impression that most of you portray here in Nairaland.


In few years from now ur jaws will drop due to the massive development going on in Ebonyi state.

there are grades some have stones some don't I just returned from work there I spend one year there I never eaten any other rice apart from abakaliki, I always paid for destoning, it is better than foreign rice with good taste, you will discover you have been consumming acid eating foreign rice.

Pally, I bought a bag of Ebonyi State rice for Christmas and have had cause to open the bag before the main event. I can tell you that there's no stone and the taste is superb! I will not buy any yeye 'foreign' rice anymore. Ebonyi State rice is it for me from now on.

I have also come to realize that no rice imported from Thailand, Malaysia etc and re-bagged in Nigeria is less than 5 years old be it Stallion or Mama Gold.

What they bring to us here is rice at reduced price taking out of those countries strategic reserves silos.
I just ordered fresh rice from Idah in Kogi state at N3000 per basin because its fresh local rice with all the nutrients intact.
bro I think you know nothing about rice.......
