Recently In UK during a test drive has suffered a new #Plus Audi R8 V10 of second generation. The car is equipped with 5.2 engine V10, 610 horsepower and an advanced system of full drive Quattro. Young driver just lost control, hit the car on the curb and because of that it capsized. The driver managed without injury but the car suffered so much that it cannot be restored. If the #light is red, this #indicates that there is potentially a serious #problem with your transmission and it should be treated as soon as possible! Color is key when it comes down to car warning lights. Some of the most common and serious lights include: brake lights, engine coolant temperature indicators, engine oil level or oil pressure warnings, engine oil sensor and charging system warning light symbols. Many times these lights or other lights appear at random times which means that a fault has occurred somewhere in the vehicle or transmission. https://www.facebook.com/carxusonline |

Check your windscreen Making sure your windscreen is clean will prevent dazzling glare at a time of year that the sun is particularly low. This could also be a good time to check your wiper blades are in a good condition as they are bound to get plenty of use. Also, make sure you check for any chips and cracks, as during cold weather these can get worse and ultimately lead to a shattered windscreen. |

Top up screen wash Because of the grit that is often used to keep roads from freezing; there’s a good chance your windscreen will need constant cleaning on long journeys. Make sure your reservoir is topped up regularly with a 50% mix of a good quality screen wash and clean water. |

Believe it or not, some people actually fail to get into their cars during extreme winter weather. Don’t be left out in the cold. To stop doors freezing shut, use a thin coat of polish or Vaseline on rubber door seals. A squirt of WD-40 in the locks will also help to stop them freezing. |

How to Protect Your Pet in a Long Car Trip For most pets ride in the car is fraught with a lot of stress, however, refuse such a trip is often impossible. The owner must understand that during the trip you need to follow certain rules of transportation of the animal. This will ensure the safety of your pet and keep the nerves of the host. So the first and the main: the dog should not be able to move around the cabin of the car. Especially for such cases, Skoda decided to offer dog owners the security accessories for pets. At the time, while you’re driving your dog can be fixed with a special belt. So it will not distract you from the road, but also protect the dog in the event of sudden braking or an accident. In the luggage compartment create a special space that will be comfortable for even the most restless and a large dog. It is understood that such a device is only suitable for installation in large SUVs, and minivans. If you are traveling with a small pet or with a cat for these animals often use special cages and containers We strongly recommend do not open the rear window. First of all, at a speed your pet can catch a cold or when he puts out his head out the window he can catch a flying rock or other “unidentified flying object” that is likely to cause injury. Also pet can fall out of a moving car. This is especially significant for small and medium breeds. Every three hours you should make stops, the dog can go about its business, have a drink, eat, stretch his feets. At the same you can ventilate the room. Do not walk your pets without a leash. If it run away somewhere in a strange place it would be very problematic to find him. And the fifth, do not leave your four-legged friend in the car with locked windows. Especially during the hit. Few helpful tips to follow before buying second hand car parts: 1. Before buying or ordering the used car part, please make sure that you know exactly what you want. If you are not sure about the spare part and model number, then take the part with you while visiting the spare part shop or junk yards. 2. Be confident and explain the details about the parts. Make sure that you ask for the quality and the warranty (limited) of the part before buying. Also, you have a good chance to bargain if possible. 3. If you are not feeling confident about buying the part yourself, then make sure that you give the call to the scrap yards before visiting them so that they can find that for you. https://www.facebook.com/carxusonline/photos/pb.219591818192843.-2207520000.1448373827./504760243009331/?type=3&permPage=1 |

Good for a common ‘curb’ parking problem. When parallel parking, there’s nothing worse than the sound of your wheel scraping against the curb as a result of misjudging the distance between your car and the sidewalk. The aptly-dubbed Smart Rim wireless sensor system uses advanced technology to automatically detect unsighted obstacles along the side of car as the wheels near the curb. https://www.facebook.com/carxusonline/photos/pb.219591818192843.-2207520000.1448373827./510075525811136/?type=3&permPage=1

My #car #sounds like an #airplane. Why? Most wheel bearings manufactured today are sealed bearings. They come from the factory pressed together as an assembly. Seals protect bearings from the elements, water, and debris, and they also seal in high-temperature grease the bearing needs to operate. When the seal is broken or damaged, the wheel bearing will fail and start making noise. Many describe this as an airplane noise, but others might say it is like driving over a rumble strip on the side of the highway or the whirring of a helicopter propeller. Bottom Line: No matter how you describe it, wheel bearing issues need to be sorted out asap, especially considering the noise will get louder and louder the longer you leave it.

Do the dirty work before your #Summer #Road #Trips Though not necessarily fun, proper vehicle maintenance can help you save a lot of moolah in the long run. A well-tuned engine will increase gas mileage and reduce risks for breakdowns along the way. As part of your tune-up, make sure you: - Check the brakes (for obvious reasons) - Check all filters and fluids (coolant, windshield washer, etc.) - Check the hoses and belts - Check the tires (to keep you safe and improve fuel efficiency) - Check the gas cap (a damaged gas cap will increase emissions and fuel loss) https://www.facebook.com/carxusonline/photos/pb.219591818192843.-2207520000.1448373827./510733332412022/?type=3&permPage=1 |

When did they start to use that kidney grille? The BMW 303 was a middle sized saloon produced by BMW in 1933 and 1934. It was the first BMW to use the 'kidney grill' which today is a hallmark of the company's models. http://www.carxus.com/Nigeria/Used-car-dealer-in-Nigeria.html |

Coolant warning light This is normally the coolant level warning light. If this comes on it means that the level of coolant in your radiator is low and needs topping up. DO NOT OPEN THE RADIATOR CAP WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT! The coolant system is pressurised and it could easily release pressure and spray you with boiling coolant. Do it when the engine is cold. Top up the system with either a pre-mixed coolant bought from a shop, or with distilled water. Don't use tap water - the mineral deposits in it boil out in the cooling system and calcium gets depositted around the inside of the radiator making it less efficient (which will eventually cause it to fail). It's always best to use pre-mixed coolant, or to mix your own rather than using neat water. The coolant mixture behaves as an antifreeze in winter as well as a corrosion-inhibitor to stop your engine rusting from the inside out. https://www.facebook.com/carxusonline/photos/pb.219591818192843.-2207520000.1448373827./514377015380987/?type=3&permPage=1 |
