I just got this gionee m3 with pre installed lollipop on the first day I charged fully and from around 10pm I slept and started using it from 6-3pm the next day the battery finished within 11hrs although I was on 3g all day I hear people saying that they used their phone for a day on heavy usage how can I make my m3 battery last longer

You have been scammed by Gionee
They'd tell you their battery is 6000mAh, but the truth is its not up to 3000mAh

honestly.. I also used 2 gionee m3 previously... Is like dat 5000 mah battery na scam... Cos dem no liv up to th the xpectation.. The only one i think its true for its battery rating is gionee m2..

That is why i never buy phone especially the gionee M3 Mini and Tecno L5 am gonna wait for good 2 months to hear people reviews and opinions about all those Phone Manufacturers can lies than tortoise i swear

try reset the phone am using it no problem but lollipop doesn't last like kitkat

how much did u buy ur lollipop gionee m3

@op... maybe it's not real m3mini you get yourself.. am using the phone, and it lasted me 2days upon fully charged... go and read the discussion thread and you will the testimonies of other users
