Our laws allow for folks charged with crimes to be held until they are bailed out. He was charged for a separate crime which the authorities have every right to do. There are probably 10 - 15 criminal charges awaiting Kanu.

Look pal, Ojukwu's period has been blown over like a harmattan wind. Most of the kids agitating for Biafra as an independent homeland have mothers born or not born during civil war. This is a new world order and Nigeria does not have basis for unity according Gowon in 1966. If Gowon knew there was no basis for unity in 1966, it is very sorry that more than 40 years later, Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB and MASSOB arrived at the same conclusion as Gowon in 1966.
