according to African News Today, the UK parliament has endorsed the conduct of a referendum in respect to the agitations for the state of Biafra. It would be recalled that there has been pockets of protest that started in Anambra state and spread to other states of the South Eastern Nigeria and some states of the South South, following the arrest and continous detention of the Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu. Recently, the protest took a turn in the commercial city of Nigeria, Lagos. |
