Everyone keeps holding PMB to one thing or the other! Wondered where were this same people during the PDP.. Just saying
Your messiah made so many promises which deceived many to vote for him. A promise they say is a debt, is it wrong to hold Ajala to the promises he made? After all he wasn't forced to make the promises.

NLC got it twisted. Removal of subsidy is not a deliberate attempt by the Govt to make Nigerians suffer. Nigeria is paying too much for subsidy. We can use the money for other infrastructural projects ie Transport. Removal of subsidy is for the benefit of Nigerians pls. Sometimes I think the leadership of NLC aren't transparent and their call for strikes are not born out of genuine intention for the masses but rather of service for some cabals.
You are the one that got it twisted

Why should PMB make such unrealisable promise just to get votes and suddenly upon getting the power to turn against his promise huh

PMB must be held accountable for all the promises he made if he's truly a saint as seen by many

Holding him accountable is our way of reaping dividends from this democratic government

how time flies..... it amazes me how the same people that protested the subsidy removal last year are now the proponents of subsidy removal.
Hypocrisy is when support your tinubu but call me a tribalist for supporting my own.

Who the hell is NLC

Why 're they always against the progress of this country sef.

When banks and many companies are sacking people without any take home pay.. NLC is no where to be found....

Now that the subsidy that's ruining this country wants to be removed... They 're complaining...

Chai! Isn't this what GEJ tried to do? Like word for word?

Na wa for naija sha, we only agree that 2 + 2 equals 4, when it is "our person" that said it.

Soo disgusting undecided

Won't it have been even better to remove subsidy when oil prices were highhuh That way, all those huge savings could have been used to fast tract our development, i.e, more locomotives, high speed trains, roads, security, e.t.c
And give the money saved from SUBSIDY to DASUKI to distribute during the election abi...
Re: NLC: We'll Hold Buhari To His Promise Not To Remove Fuel Subsidy by tempest01(m): 3:45pm On Dec 27, 2015
It's a shame that the APC supporters now support subsidy removal, but they shut down the economy when GEJ tried to remove it. It shows sabotage on their part, and they shouldn't blame PDP for ALL the ills of this country with their sabotage tendencies.

The sureP initial plan seemed as a very good plan when I read it up, and though they would have been initial suffering, we would have been seeing the benefits about now (especially with these low prices). Refineries were to be built and other sectors were to benefit.

I for one support full subsidy removal if plans are in place to build refineries to cater for ALL our local consumption and potentially export finished petroleum products.

The cabals gaining from the inefficiencies in our country need to be put out of business. The only way is to make things work.
Sometimes i wonder if it is rocket science to put things in place in this country. How are other countries doing it

I don't understand you. The price of PMS with subsidy is N87 and now without subsidy is N85. Should they continue to pay subsidy to air when there is no need to?

seems some beneficiaries of subsidy fraud are using NLC against government. If not, why should they oppose a price reduction that eventually leads to efficiency and elimination of fraudulent practicehuh

INSTEAD OF TALKING ABOUT PRICE PER LITRE, NLC IS WORRIED ABOUT SUBSIDY MONEY.

THERE IS A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUBSIDY REMOVAL WITH JONATHAN'S INCREASE IN PRICE (JONATHAN)
AND BUHARI'S SUBSIDY REMOVAL WITH REDUCTION IN PRICE.

This was the same subsidy APC occupied Nigeria for cuz the former government wanted to remove it

If our government choose to be insincere just to get cheap votes while hiding the truth from the public is unacceptable

When you campaign, do not make promises you cannot keep cuz the electorate is gradually becoming literate and aware of their rights

We do not want to pay money to thin air in the name of subsidy but why did he promise not to remove it before election but now removing it after election?

You don't get it bro. Everyone knows the subsidy regime is bad and injurious to the economy but the APC just to win election promised not to tinker with it meaning that they won't remove the subsidy. Now they have won election on the strength of that promise and they are changing tune. What do you expert NLC to do?
Jonathan met a fraudulent subsidy system and not satisfied with it tried to remove it and reinvest the end in more productive ventures but the opposition led by Tinubu ganged up with the civil societies to frustrate the move. Suddenly it has dawned on them that the system should be scraped.

If fuel subsidy was removed during gej era is it not that the thieves will steal it (President stealing is not a corruption) If fuel subsidy is removed during pmb I'm sure the masses will benefit from it cos we have an honest and capable vice president and president. Nigeria shall regain her lost glory. Amen.
