iblawi:Your source does not say anything about the actual investment. It is just noting investors who are touring Nigeria in honeymoon mode. I wanted to take you back a bit. If you want the most recent source, I will happily hand it to you. http://emergingequity.org/2015/11/09/foreign-investors-pull-out-of-nigerias-equity-and-bond-markets/ |

mzilakazi:No one is investing in Nigeria at the moment, hence the liquidity problem and shortage of dollar. now nigerian CBN has banned the useage of master cards and visa electron cards by nigerians in the foreign countries. The burning of importation of 41 items by the authority. The fixed of naira to 197 to dollar, if nigeria let it float, it will hit 280 to the dollar just like in the parallel market, that would be detrimental to the country. Should i continue with more, i dont wanna depress them, but nigeria is in deep shiit by far than SA. Where is JP Morgan? left due to liquidity problem and nigeria refusal to devalue the currency. Nigeria budget 2016 = $30bn for 160m people South africa budget 2016 = +/-$120bn for 55m people do your maths |

14:With the budget of $30 billion, most experts including opposition ask Bihari where is he going to get an extra $8 billion from because the budget is usually $23 billion. |

mzilakazi:Do you know who those Investors are? Stock and bond markets are investors with no company or business presence in Nigeria, they are not physically in Nigeria. They are like Internet tired traders who move their cash around at random. Those stock or bond investors are usually moving their cash around the world from country to country, they are good weather investors who never stay put in one country's market. The real investors that matter are those who establish physical business in a country, and none has pulled out of Nigeria recently, instead more are coming.Even MTN did not pull out despite the fine, they have paid for license renewal. If any investor of value has left Nigeria, it should have been MTN this December. Soweto fool, Nigeria is gonna suck Mama South Africa's brëästs until all her milk runs dry, we use and dump you at will. |

andrewza:South Africa builds poor quality MRAPs. Fact !! That MRAP was built to survive two anti-tank mine blasts, but only one wrecked it ! Southy defense industry products are NOT capable of the performance that DENEL and other manufacturers are claiming on paper and media advertisements... they are all LIARS ! Beautiful pictures for internet advertising photos/videos of bad sub standard products it the game played by South African weapons manufacturers. |

agaugust:1. RSA has fought one of the most advanced and complex wars of the continents history 26 years ago, which was one of the worls first HYBRID WARS 2. We deploy that many men for training multiple times per year - for the most advanced and realistic training in sub-saharan africa. We train like we fight Nigeria on the other hand has NEVER fought a full spectrum war in its entire history |

agaugust:I thought you were much more clever in terms of military hardwares because you asserted to us that you are a military researcher. However, I was all wrong. MRAPS were not built to be invincible against the blast. They were built to protect the occupants against fatal injury should any potential danger from IEDs strikes. So far SA built MRAPS have never failed and have never killed occupants as a result of encountering IEDs. I think we are the only country in the world to have held such a record. It was not by coincidence that US Army came running to South Africa to procure hundreds of SA proudly made MRAPs to help them curb the rate of casualty as a result of mines. I want to thank you again for advertising the excellent handwork made by South Africans that today saved the lives of Nigerians soldiers who till today are still struggling to defeat insurgency. |

patches689:That lunatic does not know the purpose of Mine Resistant And Protection (MRAP) vehicle. His claim is that it was designed to survive two anti tank mine. How illiterate is that statement? Does he even have the specifications of the tankmine used. MRAPS are not designed to survive two anti tank mines, never. MRAPS use tires which are vulnerable to the blast but usually the V-shaped hull protect the lives of occupants. I doubt if that lunatic called AGAUGUST has seen an anti tank before. An anti tank mine is not a child play, it kills a large powerful tanks with iron chains and its occupants et al. |

agaugust:Have already killed 20 000 in Nigeria and still counting. Your President lied to the world by proclaiming victory prematurely like his predecessor has done before. Bihari is a military man and should know that when it comes to war you don't set yourself time frame because war is not a project it is an operation that should be carried out from time to time. Now he has turned himself into a laughing stock on the world stage. Go and advise him that you cannot tell the media that you have won, rather tell them that you are managing the situation well and still looking forward to contain insurgency. Cram all those words and deliver them to him so that he must be wiser next time and stop playing RAMBO. |

agaugust:I can see that your knowledge of economics is really down to the dogs. However, I can never be any surprised because you guys receive poor education in your universities. Investors have value in any country, be it that they are citizens of that country or not. They inject capital in our stock markets and help it grow in terms of the cap value. They help invest money in our business projects particularly entrepreneurs who do not have capital to start big corporations. Do you think a Nigerian young boy who established a CAN manufacturing factory in Nigeria after taking lessons from South Africa's NAMPAK would have progressed if he could not have received some foreign capital investment? The answer is NO. The young man would have approached Dangote who on the other hand would have wanted the business to be his and instead offered to hire the young man as CEO or MD. So, now those investors who have fled Nigeria's stock are an assert to property development and job creation. They are a value in seeing Nigeria becoming modernised in terms of equity and bonds market, something that Nigeria desperately need to be on par with South Africa. |
