TRue... even permanent residents don't get it easy
Yeah, a lot of Nigerian parents I know here usually send their kids to the Caribbean, they would eventually return to Canada for residency matching.

forget about studying medicine in Canada. It's similar to a camel trying to go through the eye of a needle.

Unless you are a Canadian citizen/permanent resident, then your chances are almost nil.

Medical school in Canada is mostly similar to the USA. It is a second degree... i.e. get a BSc in a related area and then apply to medical school thereafter.

Try some Google searches to learn more.

thanks, please which country can I do bsc in medicine without first degree

You would have to open a new thread for that to avoid derailment. This particular thread is for Canada.

Hi guys, for those going for medicals (ladies especially), please be sure of ur medical status before going for medicals.I just lost my lovely friend today cos she went for an unsuccessful fibroid operation after she was told to submit a clean bill of health by the Canadian high commission. I have cried my eyes out. She was such an admirable young lady, Nini. Called her last night before the operation, prayed together. Then today she was gone. I can't express my feelings, just please know ur medical status ladies especially. And think twice before attempting an operation. Good bless.

Send a mail to the school in Canada for deferment to a later term. Print the mail conversations and include it in your application while you apply with your January admission letter. You should be good. Cheers.

hi guru In the house. I'm a graduate of physics with 2.2 second class lower age 26. I intend to pursue a postgraduate program in IT In Canada. I need informations about some certain things that have been bothering me before I start my application process.
1. what's basically is the difference btw a graduate certificate(1 year) and graduate diploma (2 years) ?
2. how easy one could get a job and subsequently a work permit/permanent residency with any of them?
3. How easy is it to do the whole admission/visa process by oneself or go through the education consultant cos I'm considering maple but the package is kinda expensive with them.

you will send the reference letter link from mun website plus your full name and date of birth to your lecturer email. For better still, you can print the reference form and show your referees the template so as to have the idea of it. The form is editable i.e the lecturer will fill in your details n saved it then attached it using their school mail address (e.g gijo@bowen.edu.ng)

They will not update the status of those scan document sent to them all you can do is to send a mail to the grad coordinator to confirm receipt of the document and by e-mail and clarify if is sufficient.

your confirmation will only be update or ticked as received once they received your official transcript from your school via postal mail.

If I am the VO, I will deny your application without much considerations. You don't look like you wanna come here to study but just looking for ways to move your family out of the country.

If you still have your job and a descent life in Nigeria, I would even advise you against rushing out here to study..

Having said that, as a first guide towards your study permit application, I will advise that you halt application for wife and kids...let them serve as your home ties... apply alone.. your wife can join you later with the kids on a spousal work permit...

Thanks OtunbaJega for your response. However, permit me to clear ur doubts. My wife and my kids are not accompanying me to Canny, they are to visit atleast once or twice during my study program. I heard CIC gives room for that and I also have a couple of friends who did same. In my thought tho, I think my family still serves as home ties since they are not accompanying me in the immediate.
Thanx, further info will be appreciated

i still do not understand how these verse of the bible(scripture) helped 2 people on this thread in GEtting thier TRV , maybe someone should explain this part of the scripture to me and other TRV hopefuls.

what do we say of those who didnt submit an SOP during thier aplication and yet got thier TRV. should we then ask, what weight does the SOP carry during TRV application.

see this man as an example
TKDINA

I applied for my application before I started following the Naira Land.
I realised that the documents I submitted were quite different from what most people that got their TRV submitted. I later felt silly for not included my Transcript, Waec result, school certificate, birth certificate, police report, even asset owned by my sponsor was not there, primarily certificate, University certificate, etc...

But the Hope I had in God, my believe and Faith in God turned my weakness to strength.
I also read about the lady that was denied twice and was given TRV after appeal. She said we should read Mark 11v 12. I held on to that verse and I got a break through

I give God the Glory.

Hi the Gurus,
Will one get an update via email about results of medicals done. How long does it usually take after medicals to get the much sought-after TRV? It's a paper route application. Thank you.

Correlation does not imply causation.

What do we say about an atheist who got her visa? Would you also ask the same question of "how did her atheism help her get the visa?"

Anyways, you might wanna go ask your question in the "Religion" section, in order to not derail the thread.

Who is the owner of the company and why do they want to sponsor you?.. That's the only question that will roll through my head as the VO.. do you have any document to prove their genuine purp of sponsorship?.. have they sponsored any other person in the past?.. why you?[/quote

I did affidavit of sponsorship with the picture Of d managing director of d company. The reason for sponsorship was stated in the letter of sponsorship. Document to prove genuine sponsorship- certificate of incorporation, income tax papers, complimentary card of d MD.
First person to be sponsored.
