Banking jobs in Nigeria seems to be a nightmare. Even with the seemingly lucrative salary structure every banker friend I know have nothing commendable to say about their job.

Bros if you ask people working in these companies, they will tell you how frustrating it is.
When you have an attitude that let's you care for people then customer care job shouldn't be frustrating to an employee.

Except of course you're doing it cos you just need something doing even when you don't love what you're doing.

My oga op, I totally disagree with some of the point you mentioned above like Teaching, telecom customer care and Asian countries...

Nobody forced them to work there, if they can't cope with the stress they should quit.....

Nepa men in my area kings oh, na so people day greet and thank them anyhow because light too much when them day give us....
boss, it easy to say that if they can't cope, thy should quiy. Well, I don't knw if you are still a student or one of those who got Government job on a platter of gold. If you have graduated for 2years without any job, you won't talk like DAT.

I have worked there before and I know how frustrating it is despite achieving a KPI of 95% on consistent basis.

But OP, Customer Care ain't a bad job o. Believe you me, all those insults people hurl on them, overtime becomes a routine. It becomes 'the job'. You eventually grow a thick skin to it and it becomes amusing. The work time is flexible, your pay comes in jejely, and pay ain't bad. I worked in telecom as a CCR for 2 years and six months, so I know.

Brother, the lamentation of bankers in Nigeria is appalling recently. Imagine a bank manager/head of operation canvassing market women to forcefully open an account. Except I am employed as an IT/Audit expert in banking industry else I will not take their offer o!

This is a very delicate job that can frustrate the life of Nigeria graduates. When people violate nairaland rules and are being sent to jail, they will seek an herbalist and will pay him to help cast spell on Lalas.ticlala and Ishilove for sending them to jail
LMAO. Hahahahahaha

Nawa o. But where the jobs now for people to aim for a better employment package. The old bankers seem to be stuck and unemployed graduate wouldn't mind to get an offer either. A bird in one is better than the one in the bushes.

And I recently heard that due to the TSA policy by the federal government most banks are going to relieve some of their staff soon.

GNLD is a known scam, but I wonder why our youths refuse to use their brains properly when it comes to This company.

I have tried to convince some of these boys and girls that GNLD is a big scam, but they always think I am trying to kill their dreams etc.

The GNLD or whatever they are called have laid down script that they use to brain wash our youths into working aimlessly without getting anything out of it.

This company should be checked or closed down if possible.

I repeat, GNLD is a scam...... See Proof Here>>>www.intensetalk.com
No need for proof, everyone knows GNLD is a scam with a good foundation. It's not even a job, u don't get a salary at month end, u get a promise of a salary. When this Government anti corruption drive is in full gear GNLD must be probed. Bunch of shameless thieves

Gerarahere with that crap. A lot of nairaland moderators love to abuse power.

There are some few ones I respect but........

I pity those GNLD folks-they look like glorified beggars. It just shows the level of poverty and unemployment in the nation. It is high indeed...
