Former minister and Twitter rabble-rouser Oby Ezekwesilly and members of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement met the Attorney-General Abubakar Malami yesterday. After asking the minister to release a fact-finding report of a committee that looked into the circumstances surrounding the abduction of the over 200 Chibok schoolgirls by Boko Haram terrorists and the failure to rescue them, the BBOG group, led by Ezekwesilly and has been campaigning for their release, switched to demanding “bring back our soldiers” who were jailed for cowardice in the war against the insurgents. Those soldiers should be please released! Oby Ezekwesili rubs alot of people the wrong way maybe due to her looks, her agitated nature at times. But whatever and whoever fights for those soldiers to be released deserve commendation. They should not be allowed to serve a day in detention. Their superiors who sat and feasted on the budget should be doing time.
