This is really absurd. If you enter any country with out a passport, you are deported as soon as possible. You are not imprisoned, in fact if you apply for Asylum without passport in Europe you can get temporary permit.

How many niger Republic citizens has been jailed in Nigeria for illegal immigration
Only African countries with out rule of law behave like this.

Hello, wake up & smell d coffee. Kanu is being held for more serious charges of treason.
d DSS got a lucky break & arrested an individual who promised to wage a war of violent secession against our country, soliciting 4 guns & bullets to carry out an insurrection & u expect them to deport him rather than making him face d full brunt of d law?.

Stop bringing ethnicity into this, that's being petty...the life of every Nigerian is sacred, even if its one person that has lost his or her life we expect a reaction from the president. However I'm not blaming PMB, I'm blaming the journalists that did not bring up the issue when there was still time, we have to know the Federal Govt plans and intentions about IPOB And Biafra.
No matter how u look at it, its a big issue at the moment

How come this 74 years old man sat calm for two hours answering questions? Is this not unlike Jonathan in his late 50's that was restless on his seat, couldn't maintain eye contact whose two hours media chats were full of breaks.

And that is the same reason i won't judge him base on tonight's media chat..If he was unable to answer some critical question mainly about the budgets and development but one thing I am sure is that corruption will be reduce at the end of his tenure.

Common sense must prevail,Those judges are not competent! these are gang of confirmed criminals who doesnt deserves bail and am sure the only bail they could get anywhere in the world is HOUSE arrest, these people would jump bail at slightest opportunity
Not the law anylonger, can can use negativity to correct negativity, is it not the same court that will try them If it continues this way, that means the whole essence of the judiciary will b defeated, let court orders be obeyed and let the court do its job, we are not in the military era. I understand th point they are criminals, they looted, etc but, let them be tried appropriately and condemned to prison if found guilty.

How can a mistake by Nigeria immigration service be a problem for Kanu. If he crossed the airport through the right entry point and they did not perform their duty, who gets the blame?.

Trump is your smartest man on the planet?. This is sad.
Let me give you the demographic of Trump supporters in the US - old, uneducated, white, business owner, not well travelled. No educated American college graduate level publicly associates with him even though they might vote for him. Old plumbers, builders and bar owners are his constituency. If you think Trump is smart you have my contempt. Even his supporters don't call him that
Guy stick to what you know.

Donald Trump just like Lord Alan Sugar is a hot head. I don't know where you got the crap you typed above.

You need to define your version of smartness if a man bestridding a multi-billion dollar empire with connection with most of the brightest people in the globe is not smart. When you factor in an Ivy League education from Wharton and the stardust of the most successful reality shows of all time, then you would start getting quick on the uptake.

Trump, like most successful men, is a maverick. Any other consideration is essentially irrelevant...

Now i understand why bubu doesnt grant interviews with local press. He just isnt in tune with contemporary matters, seems to still be living in the clouds of 1984. Today's chat really exposed a lot about how mr president thinks and how he understands things generally

Not much has changed since 1984. IBB sold Nigeria to the west. Abacha was a killer. Obj created billionaires, Jonathan created billionaires. Nigeria never really developed but grew it's economy.

One key thing is that Nigeria has lost talented people to Europe and US because of power, corruption, lack of opportunities and we still don't see that we have done very bad for ourselves.
The only thing that brought people back to Nigeria a few years ago was the economic meltdown. Nigeria has gone down in many ways since 1984. The average young man has only one Cambodian now. - to live abroad where there is no real success just a better lifestyle

The incompetence of the Nigerian Immigration Service doesn't absolve Nnamdi kanu of illegal entry into the country.

It's like a armed robber absolved of all blame simply because he wasn't caught by the police officers.

President Muhammed Buhari is not a good politicial rather, a good dictatorship. Nigerians would have enjoyed him more as a head of state than as president he is now. This is my opinion.

I am proud of Buhari. I'm sure Jonathan, Fayose, Fanikayode, Olisa Metuh and PDP will all be proud of his performance in the media chat held earlier this evening. This is despite having not held more than one Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting where he can get enriched opinions on various ministries and government activities. By his performance tonite, he earns my respect, especially regarding his unyielding stand on economic saboteurs who usually engage shameless idiotic senior lawyers to defend them in courts and obtain bail for them. God bless and protect Buhari; he is the best for this country in our present circumstance. He will surely do better in the next media chat.

Trump is not smart and you know it. He dumbs down the presidency. In fact he is the only un smart presidential candidate running. The smartest is the black man republican candidate.
I struggle really listen to find the core of Trump. Nothing. Just a spoilt rich man's son who got rich doing what his father did trying to provide entertainment. When we judge Presidents we are looking for deep profound stuff - like Obama doctrine, vision like Reaganomics, not some foul mouthed billionaire trying to shock people to make waves. Half of what he boasts of he will never do and his supporters admitted by a margin of 75% that they know that as well.

I just have to ask why are we igbos really feeling marginalized. We're always attacking the FG. What about our governors, our local government chairmen? Have they ever been held accountable by us? Someone said we igbos are really suffering. Have we asked one another why we are suffering? Someone said we should wait for the reaction of ipob to this media chat. Whose lands will be destroyed? Who will be left homeless, widowers, widows and orphans? Go to the northeast and see the level of destruction there. Lets be wise my people
