sonnie10:Unfortunately and your religious analogy, Jesus was going around preaching hate and destruction, Jesus was not soliciting and collecting money for weapons to kill innocent people with, Jesus was not a hate monger or a disgusting bigot determined to decapitate his fellow countrymen.. Kanu is a despicable human being, he's a common criminal and purveyor of evil and destruction and people like him shouldn't be part of any sane, lawful and peaceful society. |

arresa:"The blood of monkeys and baboon will flow if I do not win this election" "An attack on Boko harram is an attack on the North" "95% and 5%" Guess what? The individual whom these comments is attributed to is the President of Nigeria in the person of Buhari. I do not know Nigerians to be allergic to truth and justice. |

amaechi1:Before Buhari came to power, he spoke on a radio programme monitored in Kaduna concerning GEJ 's handling of the Boko Haram insurgency. He claimed that during the time of MEND, Yaradua called the Niger Delta boys to Abuja and negotiated with them, but when it started to happen in the North, GEJ used war planes to bomb them. Following his philosophy from above, what stops Buhari from calling IPOB leaders to Abuja, and negotiate with them for peace to reign? |

arresa:And coming to the internet to spew unsubstantiated allegations against Nnamdi Kanu is display of intelligence on your part. I guess you know more than those two courts Judges of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who throw out the witch-hunt cases brought forward by Buhari against Nnamdi Kanu. |

lastmanstandn:You spoke well but let it be said that we must decide democracy or we don't or we ammend according to the rules and arbitrarily Laws are meant for humans and not humans for the law! If we continue like this we will get to a point that if a president doesn't like your face he can detain till eternity by deliberately replacing a cleared charge with another Human freedom is sacred; the human person is of more value than the crimes they are alleged to commit. The crux is that we mostly don't have a set of principles and charter we based our societies on. If the judiciary is slow in dispensing justice wouldn't it be needful to seek ways how it can be expedited while allowing the defendant ample time and resources to defend themselves reasonably? |

Now if I insult your father you'll get angry and start ranting poo yet you don't respect your president. It's just as if you addressed your parents as daft and dullards you know? |

Why didn't they give orders to capture Osama bin Laden alive by all means then let him face trial or Saddam Hussein?.... I just pray we capture the leader of Boko Haram alive and let me see you idiots here start chanting rule of law. |

Myopic comparison by a shallow minded poster. How can you compare someone who was voted in to rid Nigeria of GEJ and his Fallen Corrupt Angels. PMB was voted to clear the mess of your GEJ. unclet1985: |

omenka:Keep living in ignorance! Gitmo detainees are non-American citizens and have access to US court to challenge their detention. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in favor of detainees, asserting that foreign terrorist suspects at Gitmo have rights to challenge their detention in US court. Check Boumediene V Bush! Why are Nigerians intellectually lazy and ignorant?! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boumediene_v._Bush |

Timbuktou:To both of you arguing YES you can return to Nigeria without a passport.there is such Doc called a TC travelers certificate. It's handed to you when you lost ur passport. Saying he did not come it with a passport is a silly excuse to be used to detain a person. |

fizzy94:Let's not join issues here! Osama openly confessed to the 9/11 attack which is condemnable by all He never stood trial because he wouldn't even show up or could he be arrested at all; mind you Osama isn't even a citizen of the US What stops Buhari from charging the guy to court with all the counts and let the courts decide? My point is PMB is fighting corruption by flouting court order and by mischievous filing of cases to keep the accused in perpetual detention When I speak of human freedom or humanity being greater than the crime committed I say so enquivocally....this is a fact: the human being will be always be more important than the crime they committed Why did the ALUU 4 create so much outage from all of us? Even if they were really guilty our humanity kicked against the actions meted out on them |

adconline:Is it true that all detainees have access to the U.S. court system, though? There are prisoners being detained indefinitely, who bc of "enhanced interrogation" will likely never see inside a courtroom bc evidence will be thrown out due to the method of extraction. There are also those who we've determined are non combatants who also have yet to receive court dates or freedom. Perhaps I'm mistaken |
