Lol @ commissioning waste baskets. We are on the same page.

But it's shameful to importa pencil, toothpick and handkerchiefs. If we start making em here, it's also an achievment.

Its needs publicity so that...

1. Somebody will not come and say its GEJ's legacy.

2. People will know the kind of things we still import because going by the original thread, many people dont know that we still import these kind of things.

1. Pencil production is not happening until 2 years' time. Hard for anyone to claim it is GEJ's.

1. You may want to read the article in the link above. Now that something as underwhelming as making pencils has been given so much publicity, what happens if it is not delivered in two years' time?

2. B/c some people didn't know doesn't mean many didn't know.
